The Flashchat is temporarily down until I can finish upgrading it from 4.7 to 5.0 (I need to drop some tables from the database, but the sysop isn't alive it seems), and I updated the vBulletin Blog software from 2.0 Beta something to 2.0 RC1. vBulletin software itself will get updated to 3.8 Beta 4 or RC1 sometime soon, depending on if Jelsoft releases RC1 before I have time to upload Beta 4.

Just thought I'd let you know.

World of Warcraft is abbreviated as WOW - which is a word for excited surprise. That sounds cool.

Warhammer - Age of Reckoning is abbreviated as WAR - which obviously refers to the fact that war is everywhere, even in the abbreviation. Sounds cool too.

But what about Aion - Tower of Eternity... A TOE??? Is that a reference to something?

since we've had a whole load of people beta testing aion I was wondering if they'd like to judge if this system can run the game and if not, what can be done to improve it. I'm not aiming to have the game run at absolute maximum settings, heck I play most of my games at about 10fps and am satisfied so that being the case how would this system run on aion? (see screenshot)

So I was going through youtube, and came across this fancy vid:

It shocked me a bit, how assassin there, does more damage than the glad. I hope they are just different levels, and seems assassin has some sort of set or buff. What you think, will assassins become the dominating class? :cry:

Years later (skipping other PS's) came Phantasy Star Online in 2000 for Sega Dreamcast: Phantasy Star Online - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Composers Hideaki Kobayashi and Fumie Kumatani are very underrated. The songs in Phantasy Star Online and Universe are so good and underrated that it's almost injustice (listen to some tracks here Phantasy Star Online OST Soundtrack Mp3s - Blue Laguna's Media Archive and Phantasy Star Universe OST Soundtrack Mp3s - Blue Laguna's Media Archive)

It never amounts to the success it deserves, with Phantasy Star Universe only making 300,000 on PS2 and 360, and the addition to Universe making 150,000 sales. Phantasy Star Online made around 450,000 sales as well. Sounds alright, but, it really isn't. Also the fact that both cost monthly subscriptions online when they first came out, and then died faster than you could imagine.

They got what they deserved, because we all know how Sega doesn't like to put polish on absolutely any of their games (except for Valkyria Chronicles now), but this game's universe has more potential than most franchises. If only the creators weren't so incompetent.

The world seems so dead when you're playing, but when looking at the universe and the atmosphere, you quickly understand just how much potential it really has. I realized this years ago when playing PSO.

I give them slight credit, because there are always really awesome looking giant monsters.

Maybe I shouldn't be telling others how to do their job, but Sega should definitely pass the license of Phantasy Star to another big name developer: preferably Blizzard.

Yea.....
The time is flying by and I still don't have that upgrade... then my dad comes and tells me I can't get it...... But I can get a new computer in May/June ( When school ends, as long as I get good grades and nice test scores ) And I'm sure Aion will be released before that.....

So I was wondering.... Can I run Aion MAX with NO AA.... Maybe no shadows , low water quality..... low view distance.. ( or whatever it's called )

On a 125mb... 8400 ...... Just until I can get a new computer...... ...

I know this section mainly has to do with computers, but I'm having major problems with this and I need help. Whenever I try downloading games (digital copies of things like Lineage 2, Rohan, etc.) at some random percent the download hangs up leaving me with a message saying (file) cannot be saved because source file could not be read. Please try again or contact the server administrator. Its weird because for some downloads they download without a hitch, but for games it seems like this always happens. I did visit a site that told me to delete some history.data file but it was not under the firefox folder like it said it would be.

I've been lurking around here for awhile, figured it was high time I made an account and posted. :3

I'm 28, female, been MMOing since... at least 1999 with the iRO beta. Since followed up with serious bouts of Everquest, DAoC, Anarchy Online, Final Fantasy XI, Eve Online. I've more casually played and beta tested well beyond a list that would be prudent to post here. At present playing WoW (Horde, Feathermoon <3) (under duress as my LS died in FFXI taking along with it my static and desire to continue), and have been waiting for Aion since the G-Star trailer of 2007. :3

Planning to play an Asmodian as I lean towards factions that are misunderstood. :cry:

Alright fellas and femmes, for those of you who watch (American) football, this is your chance to show off your football acumen.

I'm going to go with the Dallas Cowboys. Roy Williams, T.O., Jason Witten, Martellus Bennett, Tony Romo. The offense is stacked like pancakes and playing hungry now. The defense, which played terribly the first few weeks, is now starting to shine. With Demarcus Ware starting to dominate games, I feel like the 'Boys are going to finally end their 11 year no play off win drought.
