Hallowed Strike and Slashing/Punishing Wind macros possible?

Here's what I want the macros to do...

Let's say I have this key mapping:

1: Hallowed Strike
2: Slashing/Punishing Wind

When I use Hallowed Strike or Slashing/Punishing Wind I want Heaven's Judgment and Divine Touch to replace my keys so it looks like this:

1: Heaven's Judgment
2: Divine Touch

As an example:

I press 1 then 1

1 activates Hallowed Strike
pressing 1 again activates Heaven's Judgment

I press 1 then press 2

1 activates Hallowed Strike
2 activates Divine Touch

I press 2 then 1

2 Slashing/Punishing Wind
1 Heaven's Judgment

I press 2 then 2

2 Slashing/Punishing Wind
2 Divine Touch

The closest thing I can think of is making a macro that casts Slashing/Punishing Wind and Divine Touch in that order (let's say I map this to 2) and leaving Heaven's Judgment as the default 'next move' on the chain. Then I would hit the macro and press 1 which would activate S/P Wind then Heaven's Judgment. And if I wanted to S/P Wind and Divine Touch, I would just hit the macro. The problem with this is that I could only go from Hallowed Strike to Heaven's Judgment and not Hallowed Strike to Divine Touch. I also read that hitting a macro once will make the character cast the entire sequence of skills on the macro so I might not be able to switch from S/P Wind to Heaven's Judgment.

So, can anyone help me with making these macros? Is it even possible to do this?

What stat increases the amount healed by our spells?

Sort of like AAs do for healing classes in EQ
Cant remember which bonuses incresed healing in DAoC but I know there were some
Spellpower does for classes in WoW

Whats Aions version of what makes spells heal for more?

PvE 42-50

I talked with a bunch of 50s and just want to confirm. I was told that the instances in this game are not worth the time and the xp. The best way is to solo all up to 50. Add that the fact that pretty much any instance between this gap has useless loot and equips except maybe the stigmas.

I am 42 at the moment. I was eagerly to do SR until some guild mates told me that they stay 8+ hours in that instance only to run through. Thats kinda broken... After patch it seems that is easier but the XP remains the same and even worst since some mobs had their level lowered.

So, whats the fastest and less time consuming way to reach 50. I was told Indratu Grind Solo 42-46/47 and then move to Gryphu all the way to 50. If you think you have a better pat lemme know. I am full MB only to grind i plan to get MR/HP at end for sure. 1500 mb atm and killing indratu mobs in less than 3 mins.

PS: If Solo is way faster than grouping in this game whats the point of making groups?

Rolling cleric alt - questions on root and group pvp

So I just dinged lvl 50 on my ranger and was going to roll a cleric as my alt.

I hear that the class isn't as good in the abyss since people can just run away from you assuming you are by yourself and not in a group. The other problem I'm hearing is that they are focused fired quick and with no DR's on stuns or CC you just get locked down in groups.

Questions :

1) How powerful IS root at level 50? This seems like such a key spell but I am hearing this gets resisted way too much. At first glance it appears overpowered in that it roots for 6 seconds on a 10 second cooldown. What's the deal with this spell at 50?

2) Is group pvp really that unenjoyable at 50? I am hearing over and over from clerics that it's not what it seems and that you are the very first target picked when grouping, and with all the cc out you are either in CC most of the time or getting locked down and killed. Is this completely true?

***If you are not 50, do not have end game pvp experience, or are not very knowledgeable about the class (not to be a d*ck)...but I really could care less what you post. Looking for good informational posts from end game clerics with an opinion and not a QQ.

Which blue armor greaves for my cleric

My Cleric is level 36 and very close to level 37. I have enough kinah for some blue greaves and was keen to see what you guys think is the best bang for the buck, I mainly level alone in Kaiden HQ and solo elites to grind, so my focus would be concentration and MB.

Has anyone solo ran Fire Temple as a cleric? I solo Elites in Kaiden HQ and I was thinking that the difference is minimal, I'm not sure if the enemy in FT cause stun though, which would make casting rather tricky!

Did I make a mistake by going chanter?

I really like the melee aspect of chanter since they remind me a lot of my DAoC lvl 50 Friar who I really enjoyed. But Im worried about the PvP part. I heard Chanters are free APs until at least 42. If I wanted to do some rifting and playing around in the abyss while solo should I have rolled a cleric? I heard clerics are at the bottom next to templars as far as leveling speed but then I hear that they can also level pretty fast by soloing elites. How fast can a solo cleric really level? Should I reroll or just keep playing my chanter and at least hope I can win some PvP fights.

Also something I noticed going 1-10. Resists were nyerking horrible. Im talking 40% resist rate, sometimes 3-4 on the same mob. Please tell me that changes?

I just participated in a fortress raid on Sulfur, and we took it pretty easily. I am a cleric, and the role of a cleric is healing. NOT DPS. Maybe in a small group a cleric can dps some, but in a full alliance, a cleric should be doing nothing but healing. So, much to my dismay, after we took the fort, I received ZERO medals, and ZERO kinah. I communicated this to my legion, who proceed to tell me that I should have dps'ed some. What kind of ******** is that? It is not my role to dps in an alliance. My role is to keep everyone alive. What is the purpose of a cleric? To heal. Why is this like this NCSOFT?

A 3rd Cleric Skillboo over level 40?

I've started seeing skillbooks around level 48 to 50 drop around Theo Labs for some classes. I thought we all only got 2 each, but seems there are 3. Is there a cleric one after the flight skillbook, or do we get left out?

Hello guys,

I am playing with cleric singe the beggining. I am 42 right now as you all can see at my profile ( If not, its Ragnara on NA). I don´t have a problem to beat any class in this game at my level. I have even beat sorcs/ranger that were level 48. I keep hearing ALL THE TIME from my guildies that we will get raped at 50. Besides this rumour, i havent come with any situation ( in equal levels ) that i could lost one duel to any class around.

I just checked the skills at levels above and i ask myself how could this happen? At 45 we geet a boost on smite and we get a new powerful HOT ( Advanced Stigma ) that stacks with our other hot making like 500 HP each 2 seconds. And if you have food up you get extra 180 each 2 sec.

I made a hybrid build as you can check too. Some HP to last through Ranger/Sorc damage ( worked very well) they ALMOST kill me and to last till SM 3x chain fear ( worked great too since i dueled a 45 SM yesterday and won).

Are we going to have problems to beat those classes later on? I just saw a guy with full miragent ( its like 10k HP ) how can we loose with this HP if we have the power to heal all that in less than 5 seconds using shield?

The idea behind the MB is to deal a lot of damage and be able to survive. I think i have enough HP and it just a matter of managing your bar than have a greater pool of HP. Because i don´t lack this management i put a lot in MB.

But, when i get to 45 i was thinking about making a set MR/HP. Just to deal with those annoying Sorc/SM CC´s . The other classes we can use Blinding Light and it´s a autowin button ( Ofc you have to use your dots and rots so he dispell those instead of the blind).

PS:If you guys have any tips or input for my char lemme know. I am always working on getting better.

Ancestral Yustiel's Light I / Ancestral Marchutan's Light I Has anyone seen this stigma??

I have been looking all over for this stigma. It seems to be a really really good skill especially for elite areas because of the freaking AoE there. I have been looking on the broker for about a week now and checked to see if it given by the advanced stigma guy in the abyss. Does this thing drop if so where? Do we get it from a quest reward. I am really confused on these stigmas past 45 so any help would be great.

For some time i have searched for a cleric dedicated website. I have not found one. Is this something more clerics would find useful? I have knowledge of making websites and would be interested in setting up a website. But i would need help from the cleric community, is there other clerics out there interested in contributing in making a solid cleric community website?

We would also need fellow clerics to fill a forum with useful cleric information.

Fill me inn with what you think, and feel free to throw ideas into this thread.

What we need:

Web Developers for coding and setting up a website.
Content contributers once website is up.
A active community keeping the dream alive.

So why finds this a good idea?

I didnt want to post a example from a other game in respect for aion, but i see no other way to fully show what i mean. http://www.shadowpriest.com/ is a good example of a class information source with a lot more specified class discussion than on these boards.

A few questions to the cleric community

I have a couple of questions regarding a few skills we have as a cleric.

Question 1: What does Cure Mind I cure.

I ask this because I had mixed results with using Cure Mind I. I used it once on a Gladiator who was Feared and it was cured. Later I was in a skirmish at the portals and our tank got Feared and I couldn't cure it. I know we get Cure Mind II at level 40 which makes me believe that some spells are not curable for me. But which ones. And does the level of caster also matter?

Question 2: Which Circle is best for pvp.

When I look in Aionarmory at weapons I noticed that behind all weapon damage numbers is the word water. Does this mean all weapons are considered water type damage as well as physical? And if that is true what would be a good choice then for the Circle we should use in pvp.

02. He/she doesn't support same faction friendlies in trouble against a severely higher level opponent, thinking to he/she can hog all the AP.
03. He/she tries to solo another cleric with possibility of no ally back up ever.
04. It has Rwadsd-like name.
05. It is rank 9 with no abyss gear in beyond 30.
06. He/she slot magic resist with 2 slot green gears.
07. He/she wear robe for PvP.
08. He/she use penance during PvP.
09. He/she use blinding light on sorcerer, spirit master or cleric.
10. He/she doesn't use dispel to get out of root.
11. He/she cast radiant cure when 5 people are beating on him/her.
12. He/she is the first person to attack a templar in a zerg vs zerg fight.
13. Clerics who don't kite.
14. Clerics who don't have any form of speed boosting equip beyond level 40
15. Clerics with laggy connection (not the player's fault, but it is what it is)
16. Clerics who is too busy trying to locate where they put their skill on the skill bar than to heal.

5th char (4th alt)

Hi,

Currently I have my main and 3 alts

L34 Templar Main (I like being the Group leader and leading the party though as Instance)
L31 Sorcerer Alt (Nice to have high DPS and CC and still wanted in Instances)
L31 Ranger Alt (Not really wanted for Instances groups but fun in PVP)
L31 Chanter Alt (Very fast to level (1 day to get to L30) and still wanted in Instances)

So I have 4 out of the 5 pieaces on Daevonian armor on my Templar and planning to get make a 5th char (4th alt) to get the last pieace, and was wondering if to make a Spiritmaster or a Cleric.

Spiritmaster are fast to level but don't really appear to be wanted in Groups (they can be replaced by any other DPS class)
Cleric are always wanted (well as least one per group) but slow to level and targeted first in PVP.

Trying to work out which to pick, so got a few questions

(1) Is the PVP as a cleric, any fun or you always get targeted first?
(2) Are cleric's really that slow at leveling?
(3) Do you have any issues finding a group?

Can Cleric's solo elites?

I am a level 36 Cleric and I frequent the Lepharist Valley to grind. I noticed people often take on Elites with the Ranger and SM classes. Is it possible for Clerics to solo Elites?

Hello don't see much discussion around here about gearing chooices at lvl50, this is my plan and I'd like some feedback

-Do the first 3 parts of miragent quests, put the boots in warehouse or use for static encounters if you have to. Skip the rest of the parts because the pants step is too expensive. So the reward is gloves and pauldrons for 12mil kinah and some effort
-Get 3 pieces of the lvl30 elite abyss set, 316600 Ap in total and a nice 3set bonus. Pretty doable, 1/3 there myself.
-The rest of the slots will be filled more ad hoc, probably with dark poeta/world boss drops/crafted/you tell me.

Input and suggestions?

Is it jsut me or does holy servant seem kinda under powered / not worth the mana cost? especially when grinding elites

first of all before we get to mana cost it seems to get resisted a lot more than anything else AND it isn't effected by mb?.

second the mana is outrageous for the damage, i understand its an instant cast but at level 3 its 136 mana for 373 x 3 = 1119 IF they all connect

compared to chastisement MP cost of 90, instant cast and 180 + 172 * 5 = 1010

and it doesnt even come close to comparing to Earth's Wrath but i understand that EW is gonna be better because its a stigma

Yustiel's Heals

I'm nearing 50, and was just trying to decide if I wanted to stigma Yustiel's Splendor or not. I'm leaning towards the fact that Yustiel's Light (skill book from NPC) and Yustiel's Splendor (Stigma) will share the same cooldown, but if anyone has tested this and knows for a fact they don't - I'd appreciate the confirmation.
