I crafted some rings a few weeks back and they didnt sell. So I gave up on handicrafting for profit. But then I got the crafting itch again (My friend says he is going to call an intervention on me because I am so addicted) so I tried to do some necklaces. I did about 16 gold necklaces. 7 of those went noble. So I was like maybe this time I will check the broker to see what jewel for the jewelry is actually in demand this time. I crafted those 7 gold necklaces into 5 Noble Topaz Necklaces. 5/7 is the best crit rate I have ever had with any craft. I put all 5 on the broker for a good bit of money and they sold almost instantly. Fastest 2.5 mill I ever made. Now I got enough to get my craft up to 399 if I choose to.

Dont get the Expert Quest

Hey guys,

i pulled my handicrafting til 399 in the last 3 days. Today i did the lvl 400 craft request, but Lanse dont give me the starting quest. Does anyone know what i should do? Ive did all quests at lanse, and i abonded my tailoring expert quest. But still no handi expert quest.

How do you level past 400?

I know there's another threat that mentions how, but I thought I would ask to get some more detailed answers. :)

I recently got lucky and managed to finish my expert quest, but now I seem rather stuck at 400, seeing as you can't progress using work orders anymore.

I assume you have to skill up by crafting actual stuff, the problem is that the only designs I have at 390-399 are weapon ones, they cost tremendously much to make and will not sell at all (Xenophon/Betoni weapons, why would people use crafted over those), and I'm assuming you have to make several for a single skill point.

I have tried trading in balaur hearts for designs, they seem to only give me designs for skill level 410-420 and 449 for the recipes from hot balaur hearts.

Do I really need to craft weapons to go from 400 to 410, or do you know another--cheaper--way to reach the level where you can start skilling on balaur designs? Are there any green jewellery/glasses designs at skill level 390-399?

I really regret doing this craft now lol. Even for expert recipes we have to proc a Green and a Blue and THEN only have access at trying to make a expert item and then proc a gold if at all. ( Like doing expert quest all the time )

I wish I did tailoring instead. Armoursmithing and tailors can make expert recipes straight away gonig either blue or gold without having to make a pre item and make alot of money.

I was trying to make a lv 33 gold necklace/glasses and made over like 20 of the white platinum necklace past week. Only a few went green and then never went blue to even give me a chance at making this Fancy Lapis Lazuli Necklace. So even if I ever make this necklace I wouldnt be making hardly any profit ( and plus its only lv 33 )

If anyone who hasnt started this craft and is planning to use it for monkeymaking. I do not recommend it! Instead do tailoring or armorsmith you will be making money like water :P ( Least my friend is xD )

Handicraft cost VS broker

Ok I am sure more people have asked this question but hey lets rant some more why dont we?

I got my handicraft to 200 couple days back and tried to make me a lovely blue bow at lvl 25 :skip: all happy bunnies so far right?

Now I farmed my elyos butt of and got all mats except da fluxies. So I take out muh money bag and go to the broker buy a lovely stack of fluxies to make a couple bows (me likez proc nyerk). I spend arround 300k if not more... I blocked that memory.
so getting my skill to 200 prolly costed me about 700k or some thing? :dazed:

Now I am still working on the basic normal sucker that will proc green if I get lucky... Guess what it didnt do... 7 bows and nada.
I know its luck and all that but when I looked in broker I saw a BLUE bow for less then a mill (300k actuly) for lvl 25

So the basic question is.... If I'm a elyos ranger that makes bows to be all critty witty is it worth it to get handicraft or will I save my self time money and gray hair's by just buying of broker?

One simple question because this quest is killing me slowly....

Can I just buy the bow or does it HAVE to be crafted by me ? The quest is just draining my will to do anything, every last kinah getting sapped into this and for nothing. I don't even get excited about drops any-more as I know it will just be wasted in the cess-pit of a kinah sinc this expert quest has become.

449 to Master Quest?

Anyone know where to get this, or if it exists? I'm only 411 ATM but I have spoken to a guy on my server who is 449 and has no idea where this quest is, or how to obtain it. Is there a min. level requirement?

399-400 final quest, 50m+ wasted on fails so far.

So far i've crafted the first bow about 20+ times, that was around 6000 asvata logs overall. I crit on 5 of those, that gave me 5 shots at crafting the final bow between me and 400+ handicraft. None of the 5 crit.

Worthy Noble Durable Koa Bow

Hey guys just wandering on your successes with this bow, the 190p one.
I tryed 7 *Durable Bows*
one of which proc'd into *Noble Durable Bow*

and obviously that one failed to proc and just went *Worthy

However this attempt cost me around 500k. Now as the level 35 sells for around 1.5mil on broker, is crafting blue bows even worth it. Or just buy off of AH?

Just curious.. I notice Major Abrasive for 9k and greater abrasive for 5.2k and Acids are high too, I am wondering am I the only one that thinks this is a bit pricey for vendor mats? Thanks for your opinions.

Hey homies. Nobody ever replies to my threads, but I do get 100+ views :).

I have been working 10 days or so on getting the items for the blue Worthy Noble Koa Bow at level 25. I have been getting a buttload of the stuff for myself to save money.

After farming a crapload of Koa Logs, I finally made enough to make 6 Koa Bows. 2 of 6 worked.

I decided to get more mats for more Koa Bows since there's like a 4% chance of it working in the first try. After about a day of gold ore gathering (not all day, just some), I got 6 high grades. I need 4 for a worthy noble.

I went to do my first craft of the Worthy Noble after deciding to not do Koa anymore to see if I could proc a Blue.

BOOM BABY! FIRST TRY! I was SO psyched!!!! I used about 8 L22-25 enchant stones and like 5 L26-27's and some worked but they brought me back down to 0.

BUT WHO CARES! I got it! I am really lucky. Before hand I crafted 2/4 Noble Silver Earrings.

Yeah yeah Idk what you're going to reply other than grats but some people have terrible luck with crafting so hopefully this is some insight of hope (idk if that makes sense)

Has anyone crafted one of these yet? If so, did you have any trouble with the Expert Major Weapon Flux? I have 6 in my cube, but the game is recognizing all the other materials except the flux.... So I can't even craft it. Petition was closed since i wasn't online for the 3 hr wait and there were no emails sent to me.

Ok. So lets say you finally got the ridicilous amount of mats PLUS the Premium weapon Fluxes.

You got lucky and you manage to make both the weapon and the staff, and finally you are 400 Handicrafting.

To lvl past 400 knowing that you can no use workorders and have to use 400+ recipes, you find out that the only 400 recipes there are, are blue recipes.

BLUE recipes.

To lvl from 400-410, using the rule of thumb of 15 crafts a lvl, i need to make 150 blue weapon/jewelry. Each of those cost about 1million kinah, if not more.

Are they serious, am I missing some kind of wondrous recipe?

Because by now, I am getting a tad nyerked off.

First time trying it out, proc'd the first stage.

Failed the 2nd stage :(

My server (Azphel), probably 4-5m down the drain due to that failed 2nd proc and it only vendors back for 544k

I don't know why the creators of Aion had to make Handicrafters use Worthy/Premium Weapon Fluxes to pass our damn test when by ALL rights we should be using ACCESSORY FLUXES.

Of course I can't quit, I'm a legion crafter designated to this so I have to continue. Off to kinah farming to buy materials for the 2nd try!

Anyone else have any luck or how many times has one taken it before they passed the entire test?

Question on consumed items

Sorry for such a newbie question but I have read a few guides and am a little unsure on a few things.

To crit an Item do you need enough mats for 2 attempts, or can you crit an item with just the mats to make 1 of the items ( i mean is the crit considered 2 crafting attempts and therefore consumes mats x2).

When you do crit and item and have to use that to make another item (for example the items that need Noble ingredients) does it consume that staff/bow/ring as well or do you get to keep that item if you fail craft ?

I am at 399 at the moment and my cit rate has been abysmal - I tend to only make things in small batches of 2-3 items and with a 20% proc rate was just wondering if its because for example when making 3 items I only had the chance to crit 2 because of limited mats etc. (all down to money - which hopefully will not be such an issue at my level now :-) ).

Hey guys I just hit 140p Handi and I'm on the road to . I'm gettin my Aether extract up so that all I'll have to buy is Weapon Fluxes.

If no one knows, to make , I need to first proc on a bow and then use that bow + more mats to proc again.

Any tips on how to speed up the process? I can sell the bows for pretty good if i don't proc, but I'm wondering how I can make fast money while gathering/crafting and not stray too far away.

Greetings,

I gathered, farmed, and purchased off the auction all weekend long til I had 28 Lesser Accessory Fluxes to work with. Then got all the acid I needed, etc. On Sunday night I headed to the craft house to wrap up the weekend by hopefully making a few Noble Silver Rings that I could sell or craft better items with.

My Handicraft is at 84P .... I made fourteen (14) Silver Rings in a row without one single Greater Output of a Noble Silver Ring.

Is this normal, or did I just have one incredibly bad run of luck?
