We are all very familiar with their names by now. They appear on every thread. The time of the day matters little. Because it is very clear by now, that although they hate and have already quit AION, they still have nothing better to do with their lives all day long than live on AION forums criticizing the game.

How sad is that?

Their obsession with AION at this point, even though they have quit and hate the game, is a mystery to all of us. But as I've alluded to in another post, it can only be due to one or all of the following selfish reasons ...

1. They are not enjoying themselves with this game, so they would like others to not enjoy themselves either.

2. Since they did not like the game, they would like to see it fail?

3. They are miserable with their ultimate fate with this game, and therefore would like others to be as equally miserable?

4. They are payed shills for another game or emplyees of another game, and simply doing the necessary underhanded business to keep your game on top?

5. Just plain miserable, depressed people.

Listen, we get it. The game was not for them. Being that the game was PvPvE, there were bound to be a lot of disaffected players who would not understand this concept, and not fit into the AION play style. We all know that many PvPers just hate, hate, hate, PvE. All they want to do is rush to top level and PvP.

What could ever have given anyone the impression that this group of people could have ever liked any PvP MMO with a grind? Much less a Korean PvPvE MMO, knowing full well that Korean MMO's are heavy on the grindfest?

Then we have the power-levelers who rush to cap level in a couple of weeks, only to then complain of lack of content ...

What could ever have given anyone the impression that this group of people could have ever liked any MMO with a grind, much less a Korean MMO , knowing full well that Korean MMO's are heavy on the MMO grind, and as such do not expect people to rush to cap simply to PvP?

Then we have those people who complain about the PvP imbalance ...

What could ever have given anyone the impression that this group of people could have ever liked any MMO that did not have a three letter acronym name that starts and ends with a W. In other words, if the PvP tactics did not conform to that game's tactics and strategy, then it was ful of "fail" and not worth playing, much less adjusting to.

And on, and on, and on.

If it's not one thing, it's another.

Now, that is not to say that some of the points raised, are not fair and constructive. Such as perhaps the XP gained. Even so, they still chose to disregard that an XP fix is on the way ...

Why?

The content issue is also a valid complaint, but they chose to disregard the fact that content will come in time ...

Why?

As far as the play style. I can't help with that. Unfortunately for them, this is AION, not WOW or any other game. If they do not agree with it's playstyle, then perhaps there is another game that they will agree with.

Let them go there.

Let them play that game.

In conclusion, stop responding and fueling the AION hater ire. Understand that misery loves company. As long as they are able to pull you into their world with their hate threads and posts, and make you join in their misery, they will be happy. Stop responding, and they'll go away to troll elsewhere.

First of all, I'm all down for trying to "moderate" the AS forums, but you clowns are going about it ALL the wrong way. Grats for taking this one straight out of the "NCSoft Handbook". There is a such thing as "Freedom of Speech" within ANY media, be it television, print or electronic. BTW, I pretty sure the "User Agreement" everyone signed when they registered never included such dialog pertaining to "new topics must be approved by the staff in order to remain unmoderated".
