We recently had a chance to see the updated content that will appear in Aion: Tower of Eternity at launch. The new updates are part of the "1.5 update," which has already gone live in the original Asian version of the game (NCSoft plans to keep the Western version of game more or less up-to-date with the Asian game within two months' worth of updates), and the US team already has an established pipeline to take content from Asia and translate it into English while also localizing the content for Western audiences by adding many more quests and story-driven details.

Music Aion music remix

Whilst waiting for yesterday's extended maintenance to complete, I continued working on this little remix of Aion's in-game music.

This basically is an unfinished/experimental track, so it lacks quite a bit of stuff (decent transitions between the two rhythms for example.)

Anyway it's a mix of some vocals like the ones found in Holy Grounds, combined with the percussion from Manduri Forest, and finishing off with part of the fighting music from Verteron. Also features the start of the "Aion origins" cutscene audio.

Was bored and decided to Fraps some leveling footage focusing on the differences between Sword and Shield vs Greatsword setups.

This is by means no definitive means to which is better (especially when the kill count was the same for each setup), just out there for those who are bored or interested on the topic.

I do definitely feel that without crit sockets, the strength of the greatsword severely diminishes, as the less Break Power chances you get, the less overall "WTFBBQHAX" damage you get from the greatsword.

Something odd/amusing happened last night...

Copied from my video description:

During a duel with someone, my pet randomly ran off and started attacking a player...

First clip is showing the first time it happened, to an innocent person might I add. (only managed to fraps just after it started attacking as I didn't expect it).

Second clip shows us trying to replicate the bug.

We're not 100% sure about what causes it but I reckon it has something to do with someone outside of the duel healing the SM, being hit by the opposing player while at the same time toggling the pet between Manual/Auto and spamming the Move pet command.

Some of you might know me from the WoW-machinima scene.

Well, now I present you my first (which also might be the last) Aion machinima. It's a bit of a mash-up between a music video and an exploration piece.

First of many videos to come. Im new to editing so theres not a bunch of special effects or anything and I need to figure out a good way to sync of the videos with the songs if anyone has any info on that let me know.

I realize that im zoomed really far out and my character is the smallest possible so you cant always see skill animations and me flipping around and **** but you see numbers and you see people die. I did some slomos so you could see what was going on and I put in some text to explain it aswell.

I hope you like it and hopefully the videos get better in the future. If you have any suggestions throw em my way.

Hi, I'm working on this intro, it's pretty simple footage, just showing my characters around doing some skills, gonna change the clips used on this lately, when I get my new computer.

I really enjoyed the first outcome, but I think that there's plenty room for improvements. But since I'm the maker, I can't find where to fix to get this better, so I thought I might ask for some help from you guys.

Hey guys check this out, I will now be providing real evidence of botting on this server, many players are botting under popular and well known legion tags and getting away with it. Altho I welcome high lvls on my server to help fight elyos I don't beleive it should be achieved through botting. I thinkt the legion leaders have a right to know who in their legion is abusing their titles and giving them a bad rep.
