Buy aion on play.com???

OK i must be seeing things right? Could this be Aion to buy?

Play.com are selling Aion on the 25/01/08 lol. Guess its time to pre-order ^^
how is it play can let you pre order the game but se cant even get a release date from NCsoft?

We've seen that over and over, I wouldt really trust those dates, but its always allowed to hope

If you want to give Play.com your money, go right ahead. No one's going to stop you. I'm not paying for Aion until I see final box art and a concrete release date.

We should take any relice date with a pinch of salt untill NCSoft officialy anounce a relice date.

I really don't know what is happening.I have been hearing about aion for 5 months now...i am very impatient..But they say that this game will be a revolution for RPG online games

I'm betting that this is just the estimated date. A lot of games get pushed back and pushed up depending on their betas.

Our official line is currently Q1/Q2 2008, as I might have mentioned in another thread earlier.

That puts Aion "officially" around October 1, 2007 – March 31, 2008.

So even though the day isn't right, and maybe even the month, play.com isn't too far off from the release date

Thats because after a game goes into beta one can reasonably guess its release date.

Explain how did you come up with "october 1st 2007, to march 31 2008"
Since Q1/Q2 2008 means from Janurary to June. I just dont get it.

yeah because play.com knows when Aion is being released and NC Soft the creators of the game dont, that makes sense right ?

I agree, until we have the final word about release date I would not spend a penny on it, tons of online companies do that, they advertice it with an specific release date and when that day comes they tell you "sorry not out yet" so I rather wait.

we still need too go through 3 months of beta before NCsoft will set a date.its not true don't waste your gold on this not to mention its in pond so the exchange rate will kill you

Q1 is actually the last quarter of the current calendar year, going by this explanation of the fiscal year...
