God that sucks!!! Now I really don't know if I should just make a quick character to get the name I want or sacrifice getting the name I want to spend hours making the character I want >< >< >< >< ><

If i knew i could change it later on, then i'd just make a default char and play as fast as possible , change it later when im a little burnt out.

So yeah.... sorta first posts, but heres something thats been bugging me for a long time:

How is the loot type in this game? is there chances to get rare items from normal monsters (like WoW,lotro) or do you have to kill specific mobs for anything rare (like FFXI, where you only got good stuff out of bosses and named monsters)?

Sorry if this was already answered. Ive been hardcore wow for a while and am looking for something new. I happened across Aion and am amazed. If possible can someone clear up the world. Is it instance zone like WoW where there is seamless area and you zone everynow and then or is it guildwars similar with frantic painful zoning and cross realms. Any help would be appreciated. Game looks amazing and am really looking forward to it.

Normal mobs also drop rare mobs. So it's kinda like the game you aren't allowed to name and lotro.

It's a seamless area like in Lineage2 and WoW. You have instances (about 10% of the whole world) but most of these instances are about your character development (i.e. kill quest mob for your wings at lvl 10). Sure, there is zoning too, but not comparable to GuildWars.

Complete black would be just stupid (like complete white) and I don't think that these "colors" are available...

Did I not elaborate enoughpreviously? Black as in high density of melanin equivalent to subsuharan african or possibly even shades of brown such as indian, andean, pacific islander, arabian or what have you, and NOT as in crayon or #000000 or onyx or jet or what have you.

How are the stats distributed in the game? Do you get to choose which stats you add or does it increase automatically by a certain number after each time you level up?
