Since I'm not cool enough to make a new thread I thought I would ask here. Also I know its been brought up before so please don't kill me.

I've been following Aion for over a year now, and have always seen Korean launch/release listed at Q3 2008. Today on game trailers a new HD video was released (the territories one) and I noticed a release date of 10/30/2008.

Is this a confirmed release date for the Korean version? Or just something Gametrailers whipped up among their other failures?

If in fact that is a confirmed release date, is it safe to assume focus will shift toward NA/EURO release and we will begin to see preview events/betas around this time frame?

I don't know whether this has been asked because I'm not going through 105 pages to search for it, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about housing? I know that it won't be included in the initial release, but is there a reason as to why this won't be included? I was also wondering about what is planned for housing when it does come out. Anybody have any info on that?

Reason = its a shitload of work and therefor will delay the release date with approximately 6 months.

Zyxa: Yea, I figured as much. I was wondering whether there were other reasons, actually, but time constraints was the most logical.

Thanks lyankyj. I checked the interview, and it talked about was how they were thinking of how housing might be be utilized. Thanks for finding that and bringing to my attention

Most likely it will be pay to play (monthly fee), not sure about the pay methods but I guess the same as L2. You'll be able to purchase the box, so it's not necessary to download it.
