I went over to the aion website and noticed a sign up link.

Sign-Up - Aion

now, i entered my email and gender.. just wondering if anyone else has done the same and if anyone received any emails from them? i don't seem to be getting any emails from them so i was just curious

I'm sure when the time comes, you will receive newsletters and other announcements. As Ayase said, for now eu/us sites only teaser ones.

i have a question is the live play graphics shown in vids gunnah stay that way? get better or what? cause ive seen this in alot of mmos. the grass looks like a picture of grass placed on the floor i hope this isnt wat it is like.

If you watch the Beta vids, the graphics will be just like that, (Or very close). I don't think they'd change them dramatically when they're already in Closed Beta. Just remember if your watching them on youtube the graphics on youtube are bad as it is, so actual gameplay will be better.

I think you watched a old vid, since it runs on the CryTek engine, (Made famous by FarCry) the graphics will be good.
And keep this in mind, videos on Youtube are allways in very low quality.
And the grass doesn't look like a picture placed on the ground in-game.
You cant place 3D grass like a picture on the ground anyway, it requires .MDL models. (Which are 3D models created with a modelling program)
If you know Lineage II, and thought those graphics are nice..
Then you will think the graphics of Aion are stunning, I recommend you download the FarCry demo. (Not FarCry2) And play it for a while, you will get a idea of how the Aion graphics will look like.
Like I said, keep in mind that Youtube videos are in real low quality.

More information about the Esmodian will be released soon.
We all have to be patient, and there are some video's on YouTube of the Esmodian.
Search for Esmodian Flying Video, (You will see a In-Game player going to a NPC which let's him fly somewhere, it's similar too WoW. A flight path, and no worries there is free flying also. ) there are more vids too.

hey guys so ive scoured through the past posts looking for an answer to this but could not find one so ill just ask it.

Will Aion be open PVP?(i.e. just attack anyone, anytime anywhere, without asking for permision or to duel. just attack em. except maybe in towns.) Im an L2 guy, it was my first MMO and i love the random acts of violence that can occur. So im just wondering if this will be in Aion.

Without warning, you can only attack the other faction members.
Factions can meet at the PvPvE "Continent", the Abyss (really really really really huge place) and on some other part of the opposite continent. You can duel with faction-mates anywhere if you challenge them.

So its not free for all, its race vs race with duels.

Will Aion's official website have a LIVE CAM of the entire world like Final Fantasy XI? I know there are going to be more than one server. Maybe you can rotate between servers on a weekly or daily basis. The reason for this, or the way I see it, people will be able to view what is going on in Beta by watching the live cam. I think this will make a lot (probably thousands or more) of people happy. I went through all the videos and just sat back and relaxed as I watched gameplay. I don't care what they do... just the fact that I could watch was enough for me. Anyone else feel the same way? I"m sure this can be implemented in the game quite easily. Though I'm not sure on the web end of things.

I don't think they will implant a live cam, I think you will be able to get a trial account for 12 days.
It's not easy to implant something like that, players connect with a client - they have to send video images from their client to the website.
That's quite hard, and I think SquareSoft did a great job on that one.
Like I said, they will get a trial account - if not, then I don't know what will attract players.
