I would still like an answer for "is there going to be a wipe after open beta?"

Its a legitimate question, and important to all guilds looking for a good start. I dont care either way, I would just like to know so my guild can play on the beta accordingly (if there is a wipe, we will be trying different chars, exploring all aspects of the game, having fun being a noob, if no wipe, we will be hardcore power grinding as fast as we can to get to the top lvl and start end game stuff).

Can I atleast get a yes, no, or we havent decided yet?

Is that the appropriate translation for this force in the game?
What purpose does it serve in the story?

Typically if an OB goes smooth, and no major hacks, bugs, and exploits are present, then they will just release it in full w/o wiping. They can't really say this early, when CB is still not underway (2nd time), so we'll have to wait and see. Hopefully they don't, but eh

We're not sure what purpose the Ode will serve, just that it's "life force" for you as a Daeva, I'm sure it has something to do with the ability to fly perhaps? Like you need a certain amount of Ode to fly again, and once it's out your wings disappear? would be cool

Stepping in to provide glossary. The english term for "ode" is actually "aether". I can't say much about how it works, but you're not far away in your thinking.

We haven't decided yet. I consider "Yes" to be more likely than "No". (...but don't overestimate my judgment!)

Aether, as in one of the classical Greek elements. That makes a lot more sense.

It definitely fits with the story behind the Daeva. Aether is closely associated with the mythological and heavenly. Thanks for the info Ayase!

Sometimes I wish I was in the driver seat for making a game haha..just to come up with ideas that get accepted/shut down. Would be a great job..

Anyone know what the currency is called in Aion? I know that I have read it somewhere but am having trouble remembering. I am asking this question because I am in the process of requesting that Aion be added to the list of games played on guildportal.

As much as its tempting to play beta, I'm cautious about it. Even when it will be available in EU, I probably wont participate in it not to spoil everything (I probably will be the only one in these forums not playing beta

). If I really dont like what I see in beta in most cases I dont play release as well, even though it may be improved.
