yeah i have been following but thats sort of a smushed discussion of whole class changes like gladiator to assisin i was wondering jut between the 2 jobs of your main profession

Ah, I see what you're saying, but even for those they branch very early at level 10, and are very different classes. So it's basically the same situation as switching from Gladiator -> Assassin.

so the 1-10 thing really is just a this is the type of play both classes will feel like for the mage u run round casting magic spells and stuff but after level 10 its like splitting between a mage and a warlock? (used wow class for referances sorry) the play styles are esentialy spell based but the actual jobs are different with there own skill trees?

What, if any, are the advantages/disadvantages to choosing Faction 1 over Faction 2 for whichever class one picks? I believe I saw something on the forums stating what an Elyos XYZ would get over an Asmodian XYZ (pertaining to some DP related skill), but I can't remember where if at all.

Well, the two races get different DP (Divine Power) skills. Elliot translated the ones that have been seen so far right here: DP Skills Elyos VS Asmodians
Keep in mind, though, that these are just the lowest level ones, and will probably change before release (if they haven't already).

Other than the race skills, the difference is pretty much just looks.

Highest damage usually comes from mages and assasins ( it's the case in any other MMO anyway ) .

i know i know but there is always that one class that will out do the others at end game there always is.

i was wondering why is there only 1 major healing class and one major tanking class? im surprised and confused at this.

ill probly change my class from spirit master to the tanking one just so i can get groups

Cause in every game you get an archer of fire, sagitarious of wind and dark sniper, 3 classes, same sh1t.

Aion covers every playstyle making it so chars can be versatile, so gladiator can use dual/pole/sword/blunt instead of making a bluntmaster, poledancer, sword wielder and dualist classes.

Opensource addon (lua..) is still under consideration, but that's an old news, perhaps they've decided whether or not they will allow it, but we don't have any news so.... *still under consideration*

Only 1 major tanking / healing class because... why having 2 or 3 different classes for the same job ? it will just creates drama, because obviously, there will be 1 better than other, and other classes will be frustrated because they picked the wrong class etc....

thats why there is 8 classes and only 1 tank and 1 healer i wouldnt mind seeing 2 tanks 4 dps and 2 healers
