I've always wondered. How does the mage skill return work? Is it similar to RO's acolyte skill where you can save up to 3 locations and return to them at any given time (or just save locations in general), or is it restricted to just one binding location (ie your res point or town). Also will catalysts be needed to activate the warp or no? Any info will be appreciated. Sorry I searched this thread for the words, "return" "teleport" and "warp", but it didn't come up with the answer I was looking for.

Every1 can have 1 binded location (Return skill) where he can return to + chanters can open portals to certain locations.
Also,everyone will get a stygmastone (from the stygma q at lvl 20) which will allow them to return to their capital city (Sanctum/Pandaemonium). All these "teleports" have some decent recharge time.

Skill -----------------------------Description-----------------------casting time------ recharge---- target----lvl
Return/Home-------Returns player to his/her selected village----------6-------------1200sec---------Self------- 1

Okay okay...here's some n00b questions. But I AM a n00b....>_O Sorry
I saw on amazon a release date of october, is that right?
Also, I have no idea about technical things, (So forgive me if that actually makes no sense.) but I read that Aion won't support dual core processers. Does that mean I can't run it because my computer uses one, or that Aion will just use it as if it wasn't duel core? (See, I told you it might not make sense.)

Amazon.com is wrong.

As for your dual core, you'll be able to play the game just fine. Aion just won't make use of your second core, that's all. It's not as advanced as Crysis.

Its wrong, coz there is no official release date!!! These are just estimated ones.

If you'd like to know: Estimated release date for EU/US (they plan to release it at the same time) is Sept/Oct 2008. But it can vary. A lot.

I actually saw this description at the wiki, but was hoping it wasn't just limited to being returned to your binding point (like being able to upgrade the skill in higher levels to select binding spot etc.). I remember seeing a video somewheres that had a mage opening a portal thing and hoped it wasn't just so he/she could go back to town. Anyways thank you for answering.

I was wondering if Aion's team was planning something against private servers.
I know there's a huge amount of them for L2, slowly sapping it's base of players. FFX1 recquired you to login into their website wich was a very good way to fight against those pirated servers, keeping their subscribers.
Is there anything planned for this issue yet?
