I read on a thread somewhere that Elyos and Asmodian's will level at different paces. To what extent is this true, and is there information about it?

Amboss, the german cc mentioned smg about that in the latest interview (visit german site for that).
Elyos level faster on lower levels, but slower on high ones, Asmos level slower at first but faster in high ones.

It is using in the party setting icon, I don't know about their feature too, just using for some sign. I though, it is for specify some role in each members of your party.

no, its totally random, the party leader can choose any sign and place it on anyone, ally or foe. The whole thing is to distinguish things in crowd, the party decides which sign means what for themselves.

If by FFA you mean "free for all" (stupid english acronims... I just keep forgeting what they mean... must be due to my old age or something...) then, afaik - no.
Free PvP between fractions (some safe zones in the cities etc.): with portals anywhere (you can port to hunting zones of your opponent and kill) + the Abyss. But inter-fraction PvP is a only by dueling.

My question is - are there any plans of updating the wiki skills? They do seem a little out of date for many classes.
