Yes, in a sense they are. Right now, we have casual PvP arenas located in each capital where players can duke it out with each other - within the same faction. It's the kind of place you go to for practice or spontaneous, intra-faction, no-strings-attached PvP.

why you need this sort of arena?
best ffa - go to abys, kill enemy and boss or kill enemy when they trying kill the boss and after kill the boss. fun.

Ok ive looks around and didnt get satisfied by the info i found.

Id like to have a clue of how the big the aion world is.

No of Explorable Maps-
Dungeons?
PvP Only areas?

And a particular race can 1 explore the lands of the other race freely[having to fight guards etc of course] or is 1 bound to a number of maps?

Can someone clear up this up for me. I am thinking this. Will players be able to join just 1 main server then spread out their server info. To other servers so they can still be in the same game world. Without being on seperate server worlds or will we just be on seperate gaming worlds with a limited population on each.

Yes, there wil be regular patches and expansion packs.

Although its not yet been implemented, they are planning to until release, since its a really common request (+they want it too).

The zones are supposed to be vast and fully explorable. PVP can take place in the Abyss or if one of the opposing faction enters the opposite side of the world.

This is achieved from randomly spawning 'rifts' that can be passed through to the opposing factions area but spawns you randomly on the other side so watch out.

Hmm, I've also been wondering if this game is going to be casual friendly... like will I be able to solo a lot or? I heard it was apparently quite difficult in the first phase of beta... but didn't really hear much after that.

Will each class be restricted to one type of armor (before using Stigma)?

If not, will there be any advantage to wearing a less protective style? Perhaps in the way of more stat bonuses in exchange for protection.
