Dual Monitor Compatible?
Hmmm seeing the UI in the new screens I was wondering if Aion will support dual monitor setup for its user interface. So we can move our UI off to the second monitor so our render view is uncluttered.
How many people here use dual monitors? How many people would use such a feature if it was implemented? Finally how many people will be tempted to buy or aquire andother monitor just for that purpose? I would love dual monitor setup for a game. Only a few games allow it (supreame commander)

Well after raiding in WoW for awhile I did think of how i'd use a separate monitor. But the use would be so I could have my communications interface in view, as well as an applicable wiki for reference. Basically anything that I had to tab out to engage with. But I wouldn't have wanted the interface seperated off, besides pretty screen shots I can't imagine that being helpful. Maybe it'd be managable for some things, but sense the render is providing the queues that you base your actions off of, I wouldn't want to have to have to respond by looking at a different screen, taking the appropriate action, and then looking back. Takes too much time, you want to be able to react as close to instantly as possible. Seems very problematic.
That's at least how I see it, and basically viewing it from a raid perspective. But I'd say the issue would be the same for PvP, perhaps even more of a handicap than it would be for raiding. I would consider the dual for the purpose I laid out if I had the available cash. Right now I use a laptop so until I build a desktop its a moot point : (

I have 3 at work and felt limited at home with only one so now I'm running dual. Its cool for chatting while surfing without having to tab.
Game wise it wouldnt be too difficult with WASD to do it, but I doubt they will spend too much effort in this area as most people will use the single monitor, even with multiples available.

Yay dual monitoring! I was using my spouse's sapre monitor for a while and it was awesome, but he had to take it back ; ; So I'm definately planning on getting a second monitor again, it is far too convenient not to. But as Diablo said I'd have my browser and chat running off the second monitor and the game entirely on the first..

I use 2 19" square monitors at work or my graphics, but a single 19" wide at home for gaming. I love my home monitor, though and it would be tempting to get a second if Aion allowed.

I only have one monitor, and that's enough for me. It's not even widescreen. I think it's 19", but I'm too lazy to check.
