The atmosphere in Aion is the most amazing i've ever seen

I've been following Aion for quite some time now, and it's just occured to me how rare it is for any game, single player or not, to have ethe atmosphere Aion has. Watching HD videos of the environments and listening to the 2 tracks on the Korean website sends shivers down my spine.

I applaud NCSoft and Ryo Kunihiko for some of the most stunning art and sound i've ever witnessed in a game. I'm really looking forward to getting a collector's edition of Aion when it's released.

thats a good point Yakuzan... with the "elegance" associated with all things Elyos, it will be interesting to see how they contrast it with the Asmodians..

Yeah, hopefully they can compose some good evil, sorrowful tracks for the land of the fallen.

The music for the Elyos is shaping up to be exactly as I had pictured.

I'm also interested to see what kind of BGM will be in the Abyss

Night Stalker stop jumping to the conclusion that Asmodian are evil... that has not been confirmed. but i am in the same boat. we all know pretty much about how the Elyos are gonna be presented but no one has any info about Asmodian its all just rumors and best guess.

Ok maybe they wont be evil per se, but I don't exactly think there's going to be pretty pink flowers and bunnies everywhere in the Asmodians' land

I just want this game to be released sooner than later. Or atleast give new info on it.

Indeed this game has an amazing atmosphere, reminds me of FFXI good. But I hope the storyline matches in quality.

Yeah i get that. but could the Asmodians just be the race that got the bad hat and were stuck in a land of darkness.. just cause they live in that land doesn't mean there evil. by the way i didn't mean for my post befor to sound so rude that was my bad.

Each race is evil in their enemy's eyes. Good in their own. The Asmodians are just forced to dwell in darkness. Visually and traditionally darkness depicts evil, therefore the Asmodians to 95% of the Aion population will be the "evil" race.

To the uneducated masses they will appear more sinister, yes, but let it be known that the Elyos are just as capable of bloody murder and nefarious deeds as the Asmodians, if not moreso.

Why can't the devil have good taste or enjoy elegance?

Now granted from the description you would think things are bleak but they dont have to be.

And I'm getting the distinct impression that when the history comes out the War will have been caused by both sides good intentions.

I love dark, swampy or arrid places, you can make those places seem eery and very beautiful at the same time. General speaking asian artists seem to be darn good at making dark, sinister, and traditionaly 'evil' beings seem elegant, poignant and sentimental. I expect no less for our Asmodians.

for the Asmodians, i think for them it will be more of a matter of decadence as opposed to elegance, but their world has been described as being somber. which makes for some amazing atmosphere--dark, foggy, misty, still, creepy crawly with points of unnatural lighting not unlike the night sky. i see them as kind of how anne rice's vampires have been portrayed, but i am really hoping it doesn't come to that so much as i don't like vampires or vampire lore. at all. >.<
