You start out by selecting a "school" of either combat, sorcery, prayer, or scouting (or some other version of those words). At level 10 you select what sub-class you really want to specialize in. I'll change the wiki a little to help you out.

Yeah so its 4 different styles and each one has 2 different types of sub classes...4x2=8 total
