I am with you Midgarsormr I need to know the story behind it... but I don't vclass everything 10/10 cause most of my experience wih game is the movies make it look better than it is.... though i must admit there hasn't been any game play movies that are even near the qulity of wat aion has shown

That is just too cool! It will really add intensity to the whole aerial combat idea. I like the information on beta testing too. How do you pronounce Daeva? Dava? or Da-ee-va? Or something else...?

I'm starting to wonder If this game is getting 'too good' to be true. Any thoughts?

i don't think that Dae is pronounced as "day" since "ae" comes from the ancient and current greek and is written as αί for example athenae (athens in latin) = αθήναι (in ancient greek), "ae" would probably best be pronounced as "a" from "man"

but i am not sure if the koriens have the greek/latin pronounciation in mind and if not than i will agree with you mark

The pronounciation will probably vary slightly depending on what language you are using it with. With English I would suspect it's easier to go for Day-va (slight distortion), although I personally say Da-e-va to keep true to the word's (what I think is) origin.

The latins took your 'ai' (like TIE-fighter) and changed it to 'ae', as Zanion said.

The 'ae' part of the word Daeva should be pronounced as the 'a' in the word 'cave' - if we go with the latin version.

In the 'Asmodian Ascention trailer' theyve used the latin pronounciation.
