Well, you can only fly as high as you can in a 1 min. time period... but if that time runs out and you are really high up... methinks you will have a long long time to wonder why you went that high as you plummet towards the ground.
As far as i can tell from the screenshot we have recived, Wings look like they will get thinker and more full. They will have alot more feathers in the higher levels and just look way better all around. From the movies you see on youtube the starting wings look pretty weak... But in the latest screenshots they look really nice and full. |

I do not know for certain, and I'd imagine very, very few do. But I would assume that the advanced PvP ranks would give you access to new wings that aren't just prettier, but are better on a practical level as well.

not sure though, in that last Q&A it said you could get items that could increase your flight time... But question is... do they consider Wings in that catageory... Im not sure though. But from what i remember, they said that as you gain PvP rank, your flight timer does not increase. I think the better wings may just be a status symbol.
Kinda like telling people to be careful around you because you are tough to kill. |

It would be really awesome if the highest pvp rank got 4 wings instead of 2. *drool*

wat do you mean by that..... I have never found pvp to be hard usaullyin most games certaint classes are the strongest so most go that and they just fight between them selves.. also even if you are noob to pvp you can still lvl your pvp status easy.. and even if you call your self a carebear this game is not one that you really can do that. this game revolves around it pvpve function so if your not gonna fight then your not gonna be able to do much.

Well if your class is full support, you're not going to get much kills, are you? But it looks like even the chanter has some fighting ability, so who knows.
Regarding the topic at hand, I believe we know that there will be items and skills (perhaps passive ones?) that increase flight time. If investing in skills requires some prior thought (for example, classes are not meant to be able to learn all the skills made available) then whether or not people decide to invest in flight passives can have a factor on PvP ability. (for example, if you focused on aerial based skills then it would be more advantageous to have a flight time passive compared to someone who focused on ground attacks) |

Like you said it's PvPvE... I expect both are equally good ways of playing the game, no? Or maybe this whole better wing thing is something one only gets at max level and in the Abyss, not enough info to really say. As for how we actually get PvP points would be interesting to know for the healers, yes. I'm sure they have something cooked up for that ^_^ |

Alot game now have it so if you are a healer, you can usually sit back, keep people alive in PvP and still get PvP credit for healin them.
I hope it works the same way in Aion. it would really promote group tactics, and being able to protect the healers. Possibly even encouraging battle formations. Also kinda depends on if there is Collusion Detection in this game as well. (In other words, people can't run through each other) |
