Isn't supernova the level 32 power for energy blasters in CoH? Call me crazy, but I think it was something like that... massive damage to everyone around you (pbaoe as we call it). ahah! it's just nova which makes even more sense. 'Cause if a nova kills everyone around you, then a supernova kills everyone! HURRAY!

Side note: That last little phrase reminded me of the Boondock Saints... when Rocco tells them "We could kill everyone!" What an effin' movie that was.

Sounds like they really are doing EVERYTHING they can to add diversity to the game. Going to be ALOT to learn in playing this game I can see that.

I think the hardest thing for me is going to have to remember ALL of the controls and be able to use them in a fight.

That one just doesnt seem like it will work to me. I would imagine it being one of the limitations.

In any case this has the ability to add a lot of customization to the gaem and hopefully it works out very well. It will keep pvp interesting to say the least and add a wealth of possiblities to pve. Hopefully it is done well at release.
Daeva memory gems/orbs/materia/goo would make sense to add different abilities, but equipping different types of armor isn't really an ability. All classes should be able to equip whatever they want but there should be a HUGE negative effect for an Elementalist or Summoner equiping platemail. Such as inability to move as quickly because they lack the strength number to carry around the weight of the platemail; or just having the platemail equipped lowers the potency of spells cast. If a Fighter wears cloth so he moves really quickly but he'll die if a bug lands on him or something.

Teleportation would be a shorter distance or stealth have a higher detection rate. The Stigma System I believe will make each character tailored to the owners gameplay style. This system alone has reignited my want for the game to come out earlier than projected release dates. I'm tired of characters all being the same because of the impossibility to tailor them to the individuals liking. Also with this system I don't believe there will be a dominate class over class balance. WoW example: Warrior destroys Hunter, Rogue destroys cloth and so on. Each character will be unique and there is no set order of skill use to defeat a class. All PvP battles will be different because one class can have the different Stigmas that will require a different way to defeat each individual player of the same class. This should make things interesting and more than just doing skills in a certain order.

+1 Seeing this concept in games would be amazing. I hate seeing or fighting clones in games.
I never got into Final Fantasy 7 due to the fact that is was constantly spioled either by friends or watching G4, but I understand the materia idea. Would be awesome to change what you have depending on the situation.

I thought that they mentioned something about mages wearing heavy armor in the Q&A?

I never understood people's issue with BSOEing in Lineage. IMO its smart to run from battle if you cant win. I mean having 5 people running after you, one person, who in their right mind would stay and fight. ( especially if your just an average player ) At least on erica I know people cant do 1v1, and even if there is a 1v1, 10 people jump on the person who wins. And if someone uses a BSOE, just means you need to learn how to kill them faster

LOL duel shields would be so cool. I would change my normal play class from healer to tank just for that.

Given as an example could lead people in the wrong direction if they didnt mean it. It'd be nice to at least see them wear something other than robes, or give them some kind of defense boost.

I think heavy armor on mages would make more sense then dual shields, unless you just have no weapon. Bash everyone to death But it was given as an example so maybe its possible, or I was thinking about how DND works. With the spell casting failure. Maybe mages can get a skill that just lowers the penalties.
