It doesn't affect the game, it's just personal preference ^_^ I know what 1 gold is or 1 plat, but at least you can get to a point where 100 or a 10,000 equals = 1 "insert currency". Ryzom has it's own currency which seems to work like Aion's where everything is worth thousands of 'dappers'.

It's exactly like in Lineage2 with this bit of information.

Guild Creation: Level 10 req

Guild level 2: X Amount of money X amount of SP(Points gained killing mobs used to level up skills)

Guild Level 3: Same as 2 but more.

Guild Level 4: A quest(Cool one, the leader gets afflicted by a poison and guild members have to fetch the ingredients and come back to cure the leader. Needed healer to heal leader or he dies in less than 10 minutes).

Guild Level 5: Quest which is quite hard.

Each time a guild leveled up it gained new power. It could declare a war and purchase a guild house. Each level increased member cap but it was still kinda low.

Oh yeah, a guild had to be level 4 in order to create an alliance.(Connect multiple guilds together, I think there was a limit though)

I don't know how you think about these guides, but I want to experience the game from level 1 to 50 without knowing what you have to do next to level up perfectly and be one of the fastest one. I want to ENJOY the game

Lineage II really has the best clan system. I hope AION will have something similiar, as it seems atm.

Same here. But I also don't want to get left behind. Oh well, it's either one or the other, and I think I'll just go with the other. Taking my time.

As for making a guild, I'm really tempted to now. :l

The whole guild thing seems really interesting and I can't wait to read more.

On the flip side though I can't tell yet whether or not I should be worried that I will be spending Hours farming Gold. I guess we will have to see how it all pans out.

Great info as always thanks

As far as payment guild lv up, can every member of the guild go to an npc or something and individualy donate $$$? or do they have to give it to guild master (and then they do it)?

Probably they gave it to their guildmaster and he paid for it.

Yes but it lacked this "custom" feeling you can get in other mmorpg's. You couldn't put custom titles for each membership level. And before C3 the guild system sucked butt. You couldn't know what member was what class. They even re-vamped the interface >.>...

I'm with Mark on this one as well. I like to enjoy the the game for what it has to offer the first time through. I'm one of those people that read the quest first and kill, collect, escort second.

As far as the 10 man cap for guilds go. I almost wanna say they will up the numbers as the beta progresses. Not many people are doing the closed beta so it would only make sense to have a 10 man guild limit when say only about 200 people are playing atm. I could be wrong on those numbers I'm just giving an example. I like the feeling of a close guild with decent numbers, around 40-70 max. You form trust and friendships with smaller numbers and way less drama as someone pointed out earlier. Though I guess time will tell how guilds will finally be when it's all said and done.
