Wasn't even technically 3d lol. You should play it through once, or better yet if they ever do make a remake of it for ps3 (doubtful) play that for the story or for one of the baddest antagonists ever.

I did get the PC version. That's the only one I played. It was ugly, except for the backgrounds, and those were static.

To be honest, I haven't completed a real RPG since I beat Chrono Trigger. None of them appeal to me. I'd rather play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. if I wanted to feel like I was playing an RPG.

ANYHOW...back to stigmas.

After looking at the picture with the stigma slots in them I have 2 questions:

1. Will there be an increase in slots? 5 seems like it would be too little. Although since its still to early to tell I don't know.

2. At 200k a pop what is the money system like?

Well, apparently 135,000 Qina (guild price) requires a hell of a lot of farming. Granted this is at low level areas, so it'll probably be easier to get money in higher level areas.

On the one hand, I'm really looking forward for the stigma-system, on the other hand I'm a bit afraid it would 'homogenize' the different classes: Self-healing warriors, teleporting assassins and plate-protected mages: were are the advantages and disadvantages of each class at all?

Hmmm... What's the point with that purchase and shell - stigmas? And if it's like the system in FF7, are there also stigma-combinations possible? Like in FF7 Lightning-Materia combined with 2x-Materia?

Aight, no offense but you guys aren't thinking deep enough into this. You see a mage or healer using heavy armor and think that it's going to prevent melee from being able to amount to anything in the game. In Lineage 2 every casting class from warcryers to mages had a passive skill that stated that when wearing robes your casting speed was increased to hell. Mages and healer may get the option to wear heavy but that doesn't mean that they're going to be casting as fast or doing as much dmg as they would if they were in robes. There is nothing in the game that i can think of that would give mages benefits of wearing heavy armor except for a couple minutes, and that'd only be in pvp situations. If they do implement some sort of pvp arena system with teams, if a mage gets focus targeted by a couple melee classes then they can have the option to put on heavy armor even if they can't cast, it would up their survivability and make it easier on the healer until they gave up and went after someone else.

beside i think you are the one not seeing deep enough into that feature.. you focus on bad possibilities acording to you re own exprience with games that have nothing to do with this one ( save the its ncosft so its gona be similar please cuz that its NOT lineage series ). while i can understand you i als think you should look deeper and see what positif this could bring instead..

so far each class seem to be able to take avantage of this system and custom their class for a specific goal ( thus probably making them weaker to something else).. wich bring even more variety and give more room to death due to the bad choice of setup...

PS: note that we dont know everything yet about classes specific, armors impacts ... we dont even know if armors will have other impact besides the defense bonus)

I know that we don't know everything about classes or how the stigma system is even going to play out. I'm not saying it's going to be like lineage even if I come off saying that it will be. I know they're changing the aspect of the game entirely. I'm just recalling and talking about lineage 2 in terms of what they did with skills when it came to armor. I give examples of what things were in lineage because casters could wear heavy armor in there too but it wasn't an advantage at all. It's too early to speculate on anything in Aion right now, game is still in production, they could take out the Stigma all together for all we know.
