2 questions

1) Seeing as though the Balaur are a, third race, in Aion, by killing them do we still recieve pvp rewards as we would if we killed the opposite race? [Like if we're Elyos and kill Asmodian we'd get a pvp point or whatever they're called, or visa versa] If so that'd be awesome, seeing as though they're able to attack you at any time, like your opposite race could.

2) Has anyone heard of information as to Elyos/Asmodian communication? Like is it they both speak the same language and can communicate? Or is it like WoW where it shows up all "asdlkjr foSADF SD FASDAF ASDFj
asdflajs dlkfjaA FLSDAa alsdkfj as."

1.) They are npc-s and because of that they call those fight pvpve. So i don't think you get pvp point for Balaurs, only xp.

2.) There was a thread, part of the "We ask the questions" series, where they asked us about our thoughts of this. From then, no info about that.

personally, I think players could only use emotes for communication between the factions.

I believe for 2. Each race will have a different language and it's possible to learn the other's language.

1)I think you gain xp when killing balaur and pvppoint when killing opposite faction
2)Haven't heard anything about it but you won't probably be able to speak to the opposite faction since it's the enemy... in the other hand, they came from the same source, so... it might be possible :/

might be neat if there is one common language, but then two separate languages for each. that way we can still ****-talk each other, and also communicate securely amongst ourselves

Actually, I think you get exp for killing both the opposite faction and the Balaur, and both give you "abyss points," although I'm not positive.

As for the speech, there was a big debate about this, but no real information that I recall. Personally, I think it needs to be limited to the built-in emotes, so no "/e says 'You suck!'" Just /point, /bow, /laugh, etc.

I think you would get xp from killing Balaur, but not sure the piont in getting xp from actual pvp. For some reason I dont think xp gained from actual pvp would make sense, thats my IMO. If you do, then no complaints here.
I heard that there will be a langauge barrier between the factions. Would make things interesting, help stop **** talking too. That gets old. I'd like it if they made it to where you can learn the opposing faction's langauge though.

Kk, all I needed to know, I was actually hoping that we couldn't converse with the other race, which is how it's looking to be, which is good. ;D

As for the Balaur thing, that's fine, I just figured it'd be nice to get extra points, seeing as though they're supposed to act like the other faction, but it really doesn't matter, I'll just have to kill more Asmodians. >:O
Lol, thanks guys. ^-^

Again, I'm pretty sure they haven't actually answered whether you'll be able to talk to the other faction or not. As lyankyj pointed out, they asked us about it in a thread, but didn't answer. Anything right now is speculation.

Uh.... I ono. D:
I /was/ kinda wondering how PvP points would be distributed. Seeing as though the type of wings you can use are based on your pvp rank, someone like a Priest would have a much harder time than an Assassin. Will it be like WoW? Where everyone in your party gets points? Or will you only get them individually. D:
Cause my main will be a priest, but I still wanna have smextastical wings. ):

And I'm sure we would have heard something on this already, but I'm hoping that there won't be a penalty for killing another player. Like in Lineage2, the karma system was evil. I highly doubt it, as since they're opposite factions the point is to fight them, but you never know. :P

Very awesome indeed. And if it's true that the Balaur give "abyss points" as well, that's super awesome. O:!

I thought the NPC race are pretty much raid boss's so XP would be the only logical guess sense they woudlnt reward 100 playerswith a pvp point

They won't be raid bosses. In most cases they will attack you first, unless you like picking on them. NCsoft states they will be just like another race, except instead of being controlled by players, it will be controlled by super smart AI. D:
