its for optimal computer performance...personally i wouldnt want to run a game with anymore than 50% of my harddrive used up...for best performance get a 10000rpm hard drive thats a bit smaller, and store all your media on an external

lol, i actually made it to the account creation on the site, i entered my details, but i couldn't get past the code confirmation screen (wich said something like this: 쟏ㅈ둣 )

too bad, otherwhise i could be playing the beta now

i hope EU version will be out soon

WOW why do people still question this...

the game doesnt require as many gigs as they say, they just want you to have that much available, because if your hard drive space is used up, your comp will run like its 10 years old!

Actually, as ive written earlier, the new client takes around 10-13GB. Since its not even the final game, its likely that the full game will take about 15GB, and the min. required space will be the mentioned 20GB.

Theres alot of high quality graphics and audio that you don't want to have the server look up and then transmit to you, its a lot more efficient to have the client do that from your HD.
