Theres alot of high quality graphics and audio that you don't want to have the server look up and then transmit to you, its a lot more efficient to have the client do that from your HD.

as much as possible , I hope (when you'd have to stream detailed graphics/sound like that the lag would be incredible ) .

Though it is big alot of other MMORPG are getting large as well so to this a game that must have alot of high quailty models, textures, music, sound effects and whatever else it is pretty easy to see why it is getting so large. Though of course size is everything... or is it?

Wow i read the FAQs and now im more exited lol Seriously, its like they take all the good things in the most popular MMO and put it in a game. Seriously, i cant see how that game can be ruins!

Personnally i hate PvP and the things that we can choose if we want to PvP or not is cool. I dont say I will not PvP, tho.

PvP-specific skills will be available for usage around level 40. The player can, however, still choose not to participate in PvP unless he/she wants to.

And this is really awesome

item uniqueness : Let's take your situation as an example; at high levels, everyone will be wearing the equipment that provides the most stat benefits. In Aion, there is a system where you can transfer the stat bonuses from one piece of equipment to another. Let's say you have the an awesome sword by the name of Zariche which looks absolutely awesome, but an even better sword looks pretty dull (in your opinion anyway). Through Aion's system you can upgrade to the better sword while keeping the awesome looks of Zariche.

The one with the Abyss battle? Nope, don't get it. If you're refering to the ship the Balaur use to get to the Abyss, magic could easily be used to keep it flying.

Abyss itself has an outerspace look to it, but it's not enough to call Aion a sci-fi/fantasy game.

Mark came up with the sci-fi idea when the trailer came out, and most of us agree that since "spaceships" and "dimensionjumping" usually come with the 'sci-fi' terminology, this game is also one.

The game was addressed with the sci-fi title by fans, so probably you wont hear "sci-fi" in official stuffs -- unless they follow us
