Ranger Question

Hey guys/girls

I was wondering will Rangers will be leveling slow? Because no matter how many MMO I play all them are slow leveling, warriors and mages most most of the time winning on leveling.. What you guys/girls think, will rangers will be slow leveling like all MMO right now?

I have no clue what your talking about, because in WoW Hunter was one of the fastest lvling classes, along with Rogue.

And in L2 SilverRanger/HawkEye etc were one of the fastest.

And in WoW Warrior was pretty slow, so, I'm thinking Ranger will be a fast lvling class. :/
All DPS usually are.

Archers were nothing special in Lineage 2 when it came to leveling speed. Mages and destroyers were the fastest ones.

Wow hunters are solo-machines up to 70.

Tibia paladins (rangers) were leveling extremely fast, extremely cheap. No clue what you're talking about.

Since when does leveling up have to be considered a race? who cares whats faster?

Well anyways, might aswell contribute to the post, imo ranger is one of the faster jobs for lvling up -.-

I have to agree with the posters above me, in most other MMORPGS rangers/archers are usually a great solo class capable of lvling quickly.

Well, it's hard to say that... especially when the first-generation players are always racing as to who levels up the fastest. To them it doesn't matter what profession they are -- they'll level up the best they can. As for me, I've been a Ranger/Archer in all the games I've played (most prominently my Guild Wars character).

When an MMO is paired with my real-life professional hobby, it's something I enjoy so much I never consider the level-up time.

It's always a great thing to have speculators, but I wouldn't place a definitive answer yet. From the information I can glean from the archer videos I've seen (there was this one long, female archer in a desert-terrain kiting high-level mob), however, it seems that Rangers might have the advantage.

Why do you worry about leveling... it's just 50 lvls

It could be a single level that took 50 years to achieve and you'd say "Why worry about leveling, it's just one level." with your logic.

That is, unless the fighter has a life steal effect and a +100% damage and +100% attack speed bonus. Speculations = 0.

NCsoft already said that it will only take about 3 month for casual gamers to get to 50.

Archers are always slightly overpowered due to their ranged abilities, so don't worry =)

Even if Rangers are slower at nuking things down as something like a Wizard, when doing random kill quests or just killing etc which is always a big part of leveling for exp... they will make up for it with the fact that Rangers die much less often... ranged, traps, they've even released that rangers will have slight healing capabilities (im pretty sure correct me if im wrong on that.) In all games rangers usually have very good survivability... i mean Feign death in WoW >,>

All in all I would guess as far as fastest to level my gues(my opinion) would be like...

1. Wizard, Assassin, Ranger
2. Warrior, Spiritmaster
3. Knight, Chanter
4. Priest

Unless you party all your lvls, then a priest could lvl faster than a warrior.
