I just hope clerics will be important enough in this game, seen a few games where they just weren't needed at all .

Yeah, I did read that .
I kinda hope they go with an old-school version of the D&D cleric, great healer and ok fighter.
Have to be careful not to make them overpowered either though.

Balance will probably be one of the last things in the Aion-Team's to-do list, but one of the most important things we heard is the fact that Clerics can defend themselves, too.

I just made Cleric tie with Gladiator.

Anyways, plan on rolling Cleric been watching videos of all the classes and Cleric has been the only one to impress me and make me want to play it, besides the Mage class, but in every other MMO besides Aion I've always been the mage or Tank so I'm going to try something new.

Okay I just watched the class vidz and surprised the sorcerer is what impressed me most, coz I usualy favor the assassin type of playstyle. Considering to try something knew by choosing sorcerer, either that or ranger.

I agree with you, and I know it wasn't directed to me, but I voted for Cleric not to balance it out, but voted for it because I'm rolling that class.

But don't get me wrong I completely understand what your trying to say.

I'm surprised more people didn't vote Assassin. I figured that would be the popular choice. I voted Templar. I would like to be a tanking class, and I figure there may not be many who stick with it all the way, so there may be a need.

The other I considered was Ranger. Damage-dealers are always fun.

I dislike any type of stealth/sneaky/roguish type classes in any MMOs WoW Rogues had to much of a effect on me and I just think all those type of classes are just as cheap as the WoW rogues.
