Hey Afro, haven't seen you 'round in quite a while.

Wow, surprised that someone remembered me. Yeah been hella busy for quite a few months. I did check on the board from time to time but really didn't have much to say...Still waiting patiently for the game

wow these results are wierd in some places and annoyingly normal in others, even though that is really contradictive.

i was expecting the clerics and warrior classes to be up top, but the two warrior classes are below quite a few of the other classes, and there are very few chanters and clerics in there.

but the class which is most popular seems to be the scout classes, which is kind of a let down because they are both from the same major class and they are infront by a rather large margin which rly does suck for divercity.

im just hoping that people dont descide to go with assassins and rangers because so many other people are.

plus i was quite supprised to see spiritmaster is the penultimante looser so far which is unusual because with the MMO i play the summoning archetype is the one which seems to be up in the top 4 most popular classes mostly because of its strength.

well im definately going with spiritmaster because the summons are awesome and the wind spirit is so awesome that i would probally choose the spirit master evern if it was highly negativly unbalanced in comparison to the other classes.

Actually it sort of makes sense. Especially if many people are familiar with Lineage 2. The classes that do the best in pvp in L2 are the archers and the mages. Daggers can do very well.

The Warriors are kited until they are dead and very few people play summoner classes.

Not sure what game you are playing that has a lot of summoner classes but in L2 it is not common.

Also, in L2, the buffer and healer classes, more often than not, are boxed.

It is my supreme hope that classes in this game cannot be easily boxed because they are designed to require thought. There is nothing so sloppy looking as some person with a boxed toon lazily and haphazardly following on "auto-follow"

I aint suprised by that. in WOW 80% is rogue or hunter to (to bad only so few of those have skill)

and warrior/healing classes are know to be pain in the *** to lvl and they only work well in groups.

spirrit master is a case on its own not sure what it will be at all and i think that some may have that feeling to.

canter/mage (or whater ever it is) is at normal lvl i think to it is loved by some and hated by some. (and why do they allways have to read spells from a book???)

for me my choice is simple i want a dual wield melee class if one of the war can do that i take them if not i pick assassin. played hunter/mage in wow (also did tanking/healing on lower lvls char). but thats just for now i will try them all out thats what i allways do.

Since it's only a 10 level jump I'm going to make one of each of the classes that look good, try em out for awhile then go with my top two or something.

=P If you've played any raid v raid MMOs, you know that the melee classes get toasted fast

Voted Assassin...something about sneaking up on people and taking them out without anyone knowing has always peaked my fancy.

That or a tank, I love being in the front lines of battle.

in most MMOs we could fly up now we just can drop in the middle of ranged classes and killat least a few before getting toasted

I really hope that won't become the norm because Chanter is a class I am leaning towards. >.>

It doesnt look as if the chanter can be an out of party buffbot, instead more like a warcryer, so i dont see too big of a problem with it. Nobody is going to want to have a boxed chanter on auto follow in an exp group, so i suppose it would only be good if you wanted to lvl 2 chars at the same time.

Haha, it went from like..7 under Ranger to being equal with it within the span 3 or so days.

Ah well, we'll see what happens. Kind of happy to see all the votes for Cleric.

Well, looking back on the poll, its actually pretty close, they're all within 5% of each other.
