Character Class/Profession Poll

i cant believe the massive response this poll has gotten, but the results seem pretty good and even across the board (every MMO has a class that just seems more appealing and less appealing so the difference between the numbers is quite good because it isn't drastic meaning that all classes look well balanced and the play styles are different enough to show that the different types of players will have a good time playing their chosen class)

Ps: i want to conduct a poll like this 2 weeks after aion comes out and see what the scores are then

I'm aiming for Gladiator, I'm the type who loves doing as much damage as possible. Assassin sounds like a interesting alternative but I also like having decent survivability and I believe Gladiators will be superior in that subject.

I'm hoping it can buff and be formidable on its own. I kind of want it to be like a Monk from RO, but that may be asking for too much.

Hello there

Even though it surprises me a bit even now I decided to vote for chanter .

I played through quite a number of mmorpgs and I guess I finally got tired with melee damage dealers. And to tell the truth I also got kinda hyped by video presentation of Chanter . Obviously he's not gona end up as a walking buff-bank, which similar classes often were in many mmorpgs. I look forward to swinging that kick a** staff in that kick a** jester-like looking helmet .

Also although I realise that this poll most probably doesn't reflect preferences of all the players out there it kinda gives me hope that gaming world won't be overrun by one or two "coolest" classes... to much .

EDIT: Please take note that english isn't my native language when attempting to bash me for any foolish mistakes I might have made :P.

This needs to be refreshed, since alot of these decisions were made before more was known about the classes, ones like me will probably switch their choice from templar to something else, since agro tanking isn't entertaining.

Yes true. I'm staying with Spiritmaster tough, I'v been a pet maniac since the day I started playing MMO's ^^.

I'm loving the look of the polls right now. Nice and even, I hate when in other MMO's the group is just sitting around waiting until they can find a healer or two. Hopefully now there won't groups filled with only tanks or rangers, .
