Thanks!

MP means mana, shouldnt they use the DP Pool instead?

Ranger = Scout, Cleric = Priest, right (schools)?

It seems like the Asmodians got the downside on every DP skill except the Mage one.

In my opinion they have a better Ranger DP, the Elyos ain't good if you are fighting against many enemies but it's sweet in a duel against a warrior-type character. The Elyos mage Power is useful in PVE.

I think this is only one of the many DP skills each class will have.

I dont agree. I think the mage skill is better on asmodain for pvp and the elyos for pve.

The ranger skills really depend on how big a role resistance plays...

The cleric skill could go either way.. the elyos get 2000 damage... but that will give out with the 2k is done.. were the asmodian get 100 per 3 no matter how much damage they take... the cooldown timer on that could effect how good the skill really is.

The warrior skill does seem OP for Elyos in a PvP mind set.. but it says life drain on Asmodian.. if they mean it restores the asmodian HP a bit that could be a major buff to warriors who normally have to depend on pots in pvp. Again the cool down timer is key...

ALso we should keep in mind these are only rank 1

I like Asmodian Scout and Mage ones better, and the Warrior ones I think are pretty equal overall, just depends on the situation. Elyos Priest ones seems better, unless the absorption is only from attacks and not spells, then I'd say they're about the same.

Great news. Thanks for putting it up. DP skills are amazing... reminds me of the Smash Ball in SSBB.

The Asmo priest seems absurdly underpowered in comparison... You've got a 1000 health DOT heal vs. a 2000 damage shield? You can still out-damage the DOT and kill the person with it on, a shield gives you another 2000 health whether you're at full health or 1% It's MUCH better in clutch situations. Given the manner in which DP is acquired, I somehow doubt the timer is going to be different, but who knows... I think another factor that would influence this is whether the shield is damage after armor is accounted for or not. If you've got 30% mitigation and the shield is damaged without armor, it's not the same as a 2000 heal, but you're still getting a lot better pay-off than a 1000 heal DOT.

However... the scout, and maybe this is just the wording, for the asmodians appears to be the Elyos plus resistance... The elyos says they evade all physical attacks and then the asmo says it increases evasion 100%, as well as resistance... Again, it might just be the wording, but it seems pretty clearly one-sided.

Obviously the warrior ones depend on the damage scaling and then how much is actually drained. Could very well be completely balanced.

I'm with fayeth on the mage one. Getting your mana back can be huge in an endurance boss fight, but even with no mana cost and increased cast speed you're going to have to watch your aggro so you don't drag it off the tank... could be really, really annoying. However, for PvP that no mana cost and increased cast time means you can go basically balls out for 10 seconds on whatever poor sap is in your sights.

They're interesting... it's nice to have some real info (as usual from the work of dedicated fans). So, a big thanks to you, elliot, yet again.
