Solo or Party Play?

So, I was just curious to see how many people planned to Solo through Aion and how many people planned to party through the whole game. And I wanted to see why people solo, too.

On every MMO I've played, I've partied through most, if not all, of the game. Usually, I'm a support class, which would explain most of that. But sometimes, when I'm playing a Ranger or Archer or some other class like that, I'll still party for the pure fun of it. Since I plan on choosing a Spiritmaster as my main when Aion is released, it'll be a lot easier for me to party than to try to solo it.

*shrug* Probably a bit of both. In FFXI it was party all the time, and that's fine to a point, but honestly sometimes you don't have the time or are even int he mood to party, so the ability to solo is a wonderful thing.

solo as far as i can, if I'm in a guild sure will party to help the guildies.

party play will always be superior when you have a decent clan that organizes perfect parties, but when there nothing going on i'll probably solo, but i expect my clan to be organizing long lasting exp parties everynight for a few hours

I tend to solo only when im only farming items for a craft/raid or just for gold, which is really something i only do at max level when there not enough guild mates of the right classes on to go party. The rest of the time I'm party all the way. Of course a major part of that is also to fact that i play healing classes which general aren't good solo. Not that i mind, i prefer parties.

he doesnt complain... doesnt go afk every minute... dont lets me wait at xpspot
parties are great for raids and pvp and other big stuff, but for xp i prefer solo... so i dont end up with drama every day

Hm... Usually, when I party, I just find someone that's cool to talk to and all that, then we just run out and play like we would if we were soloing. If they need an item, it's just like "Hey, I need this drop from this guy, help me out?" and I'm just like "No problem." And we camp wherever and talk the whole time. It's pretty cool because it's never too serious, nothing huge is on the line, and if some boss runs through and wipes us out completely, we just laugh about it, respawn and head back.

I need to find someone like that to play Aion with. lol

Although, to be honest, I say that about my farming habits mainly to look good. >_>

I'm just far too lazy to actually farm most of the time ; ;

Hell WoW, basically hands you a 100+ gold a day just doing some quick dailies and I still slack off :P

Depends how the game turns out. It's fun to play with friends in a party connected over Teamspeak and talk about everything.
