Them AION vidyas you're posting, they're at least ah couple months old. We were able tah watch them on AION.co.kr back at the beginning of closed biita and they've been up for the pressh to download and poast everywhere for a least ah month.

Oh, and your users are mainly a bunch of blithering idiots. Mainly. Not all.

I too made the mistake of looking at that Mark, I don't even have to click your link. This is a tad bit worrying because unless NCsoft does something to hype Aion up (outside of Korea I mean) they could drop the ball bigtime. I'm still crossing my fingers.

i would have to agree... i've never really relied on the site for news in the past, but it seems in the last 6 months or so, the (at times) newsworthy content has dwindled to a trickle.. i find little need (or interest) to visit the site any longer...

unless im in the mood for a chuckle or two...

Not sure that, that is fair or correct.

With respect to your postion here, preaching to the choir is not going to get subs up. It's getting people who might not give Aion a look to give it a look.

Any publicity that is good publicity is "good". There will always be diehard fans of one thing or another but what ends up happening is that it becomes a small clique of people who who end up wanting things the way they are, no change, no flexibility.

Of course the diehards are needed to maintain a foothold. Especially since I feel that Aion will have a harder time reaching people as it seems a bit esoteric for the current market.

Word of mouth can be so important and the more people who know of the game and want to try it out in an earnet way, the better.

That's my opinion in any case.

As far as their videos, they did give an explanation as to why they posted them when they posted them. Whether it suffices or not is another thing.

Mark, as funny as this post is, I think Aion Source should approach MMORPG.com with a tad bit more professionalism. They are a big website and have certain number of staff to cover a plethora of games. It's natural that they wont be able to give nearly as much good info as Aion source or any other specialized website for that matter. I think instead a good course of action is attempting to work with whatever staff is currently maintaining their Aion section and to raise a bit more awareness. As dumb as I think they are, I don't think it's in everyones best interest that we start insulting large groups of people lol. Hey, with some collaboration, hopefully we can attract attention our way. Just give them enough to make people interested in the game, but not enough that they will be satisfied with their tiny section on what seems to become a wildly popular game.

Heh while I've always thought the userbase of mmorpg.com less then worthy of attention, it's still one of the best if not the best MMO site out there. The better one I can think of is 1up.com but that's very commercial. The other site in the same league as mmorpg.com is mmosite which even more worthy of ridicule if you ask me. :/

So can someone point to a better mmo source site with a decent community? I'd love to see them ^^
