Ayase: Suggestion

It's been noted that people get very aggitated when they don't have an official update and then constantly whinge on the forums about it (well not constantly ) so I thought up a plan (I know, Howling's plans always end up with Shiyu naked and covered in cream - but not this one!)

Perhaps pick a day.. say Friday or Saturday.. And every week post an update - even if nothing actually happened. People will be satisfied that we're at least getting an update and thus people will stop moaning about out lack of information lately, as people take "no new info" to mean "nothings happening and NCsoft are lazy".

So every.. Saturday I thinks best - end of week report kinda thing - just post and let us know SOMETHING is going on.. If you can't specify what happened it's still nice to know you still think of us and stuff is actually happening behind the scenes..

Don't see why Ayase wouldn't go for it. 1 post a week isn't exactly difficult to do, and it would keep the community happy (which I think has something to do with his job? I'm not too sure on his job description ). Thus he'd get promoted for good work, and then he'd be head of NCSoft and we could all basque in his glory?

I think ayase tries to keep us as updated as he/she can but sometimes there is literally no new information passed on for quite a while so how would it look to see for 7 weeks nothing new? Even still though, he/she tries to keep us entertained with other info within NC perhaps not even directly related to Aion like the post memorabilia 2007.

7 weeks of confirmed nothing beats hearing nothing for 7 weeks.

And we all know Ayase tries to keep us as informed as best he can, but to some people that's not enough. I just think my suggestion would be more efficient than Ayase posting on 10 different threads trying to subdue the whiners that have had no new information for afew weeks.

But obviously if everyone thinks it's a bad idea, I've got no choice but to accept it's a bad idea

Ayase already does send emails to mark so mark can post them in News, every time there is something new. The reason you havent seen much since you joined is that there has been nothing then can say. Korean Beta is stopped atm, the details on EU/NA beta are not set in stone yet and there hasn't been any press releases for some time. Point Blank theres nothing to be said.

Once something comes up im sure Ayase will email it to us again.

I think some people are misinterpreting my thread.. This is not for my sake, I know information comes when information comes. It was merely a suggestion to Ayase for those people who I've seen whining about the lack of new information.

As I said earlier, most people take "no news" to mean "nothings happening and company x are lazy/have forgotten us/don't care/whatever bullcrap whiners come up with" - so having an official tell us there's nothing new he can tell us, but stuff is happening.. will shut up said whingers.

I appreciate your concern and your suggestion, but as has been said - if I have anything of importance to share I will have it sent to fansites for publishing, among them being Mark and Aionsource. Other than that I'm going to keep lurking in the background, replying when is needed, nodding in solitude and silence when not. I personally think it's been working fairly well so far.
