if they're smart they keep the payment just a little under the WoW payment, lots of wowplayers that are not totally satisfied with that game will come to Aion then I guess

You do know that Q1 2008 is the end of the year of 08, correct? That still seems very fair away and too much time for a game to be tested. Our year olds Q2, Q3, Q4 and then Q1. I would think that the game would be released, late Q2, early Q3.

And the next E3 is close. Its this year, and Aion is in it. So why wait till E3 '08? :P

who cares about noobs, let them die every 5 mins and loose in pvp
oh well, you dont have to worry about them when you are high lvl and they are still around lvl 10

By the way do you know how large influence does the money/currency have in the game? Is it like diablo 2 with is useless or like WoW where gold involve in pretty much everything.

lol, you say WoW has endless grinding. You obviously haven't played Lineage 2. No idea how the currency and economy in the game will work. I don't even think developers realize it until the game is actually tested.

About whether it would be better if Aion is free to play or should have a monthly fee, I feel it should be whatever the developers need to maintain the servers. If they require a monthly fee to keep stable and lag free servers I'm up for paying 15 a month. I also like the notion of keeping lil 10 year olds off the servers as well.

Game companies usually go by "calendar quarters" for releases, with Q1=Jan-Mar, Q2=Apr-June, Q3=July-Sep, and Q4=Oct-Dec.

So Q1 2008 is Jan, Feb, Mar 2008.

Ah! thanks for clearing that one up there Jen. Thats a nice little fact thats good to know, hehe. This FAQ does seem like it would help many newcomers, although I can think of a few questions that should be up there. Like "Is there Free Flight and/or Flight Combat involved in the game, and such. Those were some of my first thoughts from seeing the game. Nontheless its looking good, Good Job Shiyu! ^_^

A. We still haven't seen an actual in-game shot of the Asmodians, but we do have them in some awesome poster art now.

In any case very informative for the new comers...makes me wish I didn't buy Hellgate London and Fury...stupid stupid stupid me...oh well still can't wait for this came to go open beta in the US.
