SpiritMaster gets a new pet o.O??

I want to be constantly switching summons in a fight for different melee attacks, buffs and spells, I pray I'm not sitting their with the same summon for 30mins cuz it does more damage then the others and I have no other roll to fill in the party at that time... or with my water summon only healing. I hope the pvp aspect of SM is thought out as well cuz otherwise I'll be hating life if I'm just kiting the whole time while the assassin is casing me around like a chicken with it's head cut off.

Maybe as strong as some of the Aeons from the FF series?? Lol that would prob be overkill =p. But yeah they should prob make them a bit stronger, I don't want people going after my pets first just because they are weak... But we really don't know their strengths and weaknesses atm

Keep in mind a Spiritmaster's summons may not be restricted to the following description:

Fire Elemental- Melee Offensive
Water Elemental - Healing Type
Wind Elemental - Magical Offensive
Earth Elemental - Tanking Type

In other words, the game is still in development -- as we all know. Therefore, a particular summon's role might include more responsibilities than, say, only melee.

Lol, my friend, we've already confirmed all of this. The Earth Elemental isn't a mob, but it is a pet. Gametrailers.com - Aion: Tower of Eternity - Earth Elemental

And the Stone Elemental is pretty much a guarantee. They practically give it away without saying the words "New summon! Stone!"

would be cool if the environment determined the appearance of the summon. And that both were in fact Earth Elementals. The class video does show both the tree and stone being summoned.

Yep I keep comeing back to spiritmaster as my choice, about a month ago I was sure I was going to be a sorcerer but now I'm leaning toward Spiritmaster, did you see the armor that spiritmaster had it looked awsome!

Aren't the Asian elements not like the European counter parts? I mean in some Asian depictions of Elements you have...

Air
Fire
Water
Metal
Stone

And I think there's another too somewheres...depends on the region you're in and what reason you're talking about elements. There very well -could- be a 'stone' elemental...or he has a jewel in his head, maybe he's made of a certain object like a special summoning stone. *shrug* Who knows...

Ah there ya go. *rubs sleepy eyes* The tree could be a 'wood' elemental, like walking trees that protect the woods ect. and the stone guy is actually the real 'Earth.' In truth, most 'Earth' elementals from games I've played have indeed been big stone golems, not trees.

The tree one?? If so she is just buffing it, sort of looks like attacking lol but just buffing it. Or giving it commands. I don't know =p I just know shes not attacking it

Well she does summon it in the very begining of the summoner part, so yes it looks like we now have a stone elemental.

-Dont forget also that the elemental critters are also mobs in some areas.

the spirits look way too big. they need to scale it down. it will not be friendly in a party setting because they will obstruct the view of many party members. aesthetically, big is good. practicality, big is bad.
