I dont know if anyone else here played RF Online in the early days.. RF had the ultimate aggro system... It was basicly whoever was closest to the mob had aggro (2hand meele weapons had a larget hit range then a 1hander) provided they were doing +/- 10% the sum total of the damage. It was great because people still had to think to fight mobs that were beating on the Shieldmeele (tank) and tanking wasn't stressful like it is in wow.
Another thing i really hate is when the tank pulls 9 monsters and I heal him.. 8 monsters on me.. I hope aion makes AoE tanking easier than the market standard. Peace. |

I have seen many different forms or threat systems they all had thier flaws, some worse then others.
Im really hoping the threat system for aion would be along the lines of "the templar knowing how to do his job = no aggro for others" not just a broken system |
