Not exactly. These MMO's are actually meant to be small and directed towards a smaller demographic. The developers minimize the production cost and market these games to the consumers. There are hundreds of these so obviously it's returning some kind of profit. Meaning, they were successful.

Well something we finally agree on... but I honestly don't believe that NCsoft will put Aion to the console if they do anything I think it will be a seperate MMO on the console, but I could be wrong, only time will tell.

I think at some point NCsoft will develop an MMO for the PS3 simply because they are a huge company and don't exactly focus on any single projects at a time. You may have noticed how they have a line up of really diverse games. I think at one point they will take a stab at it, but probably not with Aion.

The reason I'm only mentioning the PS3 when I refer to consoles is because NCsoft actually made a deal with Sony to make games exclusive to the george foreman grill.

I'm not saying that the game would be better on the PS3, I'm saying that there is no logical explanation to keep it from hitting the PS3. It's not like the game is running on Crytek's new engine, it's still on the old one. And yes, MMO's will eventually make the move to gaming consoles simply because it's a market that has yet to be *****d out. I'm pretty sure Phiber and I have defended our points well enough to show that the PS3 is ready for the big time MMO's and can substantially help[ them gain a whole new audience that has not already been assimilated by the Borg, aka WoW.

No I didn't. I said that at this point, Microsoft probably thinks that if they were to buy a substantial portion of SE like Sony did, it wouldn't produce more than it would cost. They could do it if they wanted to, but they probably don't see any point.

Yes but for an entirely different reason than what you had said. When Microsoft puts enough money on the table, the stockholders at Take-Two will snatch it up in a second.

Microsoft isn't interested because the money they would gain from exclusive games pails in comparison to the money spent on the acquisition of the company.
