nevertheless I'm not exactly sure on what you mean with "a...." like..."ausrotten", "auslöschen"? ^^ okay, ehm..anyhow: When I first came across AION I wanted to play Elyos and I was pretty sure of that. But when the first pics of Asmodians popped up..well..they were sexy ![]() So it's like beautiful landscape on the one side and sexy clothing on the other. Damnit...I'm going to play Shugo ^^ |

Most people will pick the ' angelique & pretty ' characters, a.k.a elyos...
( Just like alliance on world of warcraft ) I'm not saying that everyone will though. |

But I agree, most people generally will turn twords the, as you said, Angelique looking characters as their initial choice before looking more into it. Anyone have some kind of study they could link us to? ^_^ Come to think of it, it was a while ago but there was a study done with players and their class / job class in FFXI. It was a really REALLY amazing study, as it pitted people who chose healer as their first choice generally were this this type, and players who went dragoon had a personality like this. I wonder if I can find it... but I wonder if Aion will be a game that could have an accurate study like that. I know WoW is not the type of game where you could do a study between character choice and personality, it just feels like a huge jumble of randomness to me. |

well when I first saw an asmodian, I couldn't help but notice its very unique feet. It did not seize to surprise me there. When I saw it's BACK, I noticed a quite interesting mass of hair that can't be described in any other way than "manes". Even worse, it was a female character! I was very disappointed at Koreans' taste in women. I really had no idea Koreans had back hair fettish, and I am Korean. Dang
I think I am really leaning toward Elyos... however, I am very anti-mob so I might end up going to asmodians if too many zerglings are swarming on flowers and rainbows land. ![]()

I'm still undecided but everyday the Asmodians look like a better choice.
Possibly the only difference theres gonna be between Asmodian and Elyos players will probably be the maturity level. If this follows anything like WoW, the younger more immature players will jump to the Elyos side simply because they look like the good guys. Not that all Alliance players were noobs, I know a lot of Alliance who are great players, but their idiot ratio outnumbered that of the hordes greatly. But then again, part of the reason WoW had so many immature players was for its cartoonish graphics, and easy accessibility. Anyone could hit 70 without much effort at all. Im thinking this is gonna turn out more like a FFXl community though, where we have a lot of older players as compared to WoW. |

I am hoping that it doesnt become like this in Aion, and I dont feel like it will. Or at least no where near the level that WoW is. I will be going Elyos for sure, and I seem to look at it in a different way now. Asmodeans may be the underdogs, which would mean a majority of players are Elyos, and if Elyos end up being where alot of THOSE players are, then me being on Elyos will make me part of the internal-underdogs lol. Not tooting my own horn (the game is not even out yet anyway ) but I will say I am a good player, I know how to do what I gotta do, and I enjoy being like that when playing WoW. I cant tell you how many times I have seen "Wow! A hunter that uses misdirect!" and I respond "I also spam Naaru! "LFG for Abyss raid! Cool people only! ^^ |
