Females and the reverse armor rule

Well, plate armor bikinis are sexy, gotta admit that. Though they do indeed represent a logical flaw. If you're up against a 10 feet lizard with an attitude, you better be dressed for the occation (unless you intend to go for the ol' seduce & destroy trick).

Yeah, it bugs me a little, but not enough to stop me from shamlessly drooling as they walk by in their plate armor bikinis..... *drools*

No it isnt strange, especially not in Aion, since players are demigod beings or whatever they call it. So obviously they arent as weak as mere humans.. And besides "bikini-armors" can have invisible magical properties or something. There are many explanations for why a skinny girl in revealing armor can fight a huge monster in a game like Aion.

My feeling on this... wellll i like half naked girls :P BUT ya when the armor gets TOO skimpy, it gets a bit unrealistic... and loses the feel of say a tank in a "chain mail bikini". Hopefully it won't be too rediculous.

I like this look it's more battleworthy.. and if we have that stuff for battle we can have skimpy suits and styles for socialising as it would be more appropriate. But in honesty im not fluffed we will all look good in whatever we wear in Aion ^.^

i like it too, but in all obvectivity its too "manga" to cater the masses. ^^

I'd have to agree with the topic starter somewhat. We should have a full plate armor when it's a heavy armor to make it more realistic but I also like seksi pixels so I would want the the possibility for characters to go completely nude... kthnxbye O_O

I'm quoting these 2 posts because I think you guys touched on some pretty good points:

1. it's nice to have different armor styles available, especially for lower-level gear, with interesting--and yes, even skimpy--designs for walking around in the main city and just joking around and socializing and having fun.

2. being able to go completely nude would be a nice addition to any MMO, and I know AoC went through a whole battle for in-game nipples, but it's also rated mature so I don't see that happening to any mainstream MMO anytime soon.

Once again I would like to reiterate I am not against nudity, or less-than-full coverage in general, but I think that for armors to consistently cover less and less as they level up looks corny and (when fighting) I would like my character to look badass, not silly.

That armor is so ugly it made me depressed while playing Suikoden 3. Horrendous looking, no appeal in the slightest sense. The worst of the worst designs. I could hate on it a lot more, but I don't want any armor looking even close to that in Aion. I'll go with wearing armor with absolutely no covering, preaz ^-^.
