Females and the reverse armor rule

Really, in the end, I don't mind it much. I play male and female, so it's not as major a problem for me. Sometimes it looks badass, and sometimes it goes overboard. I believe that the reason females have skimpy version of male is because it would look repetitive having both sexes having the exact same look. Plus, its the general outlook of male and female, like I said before.

I think that just about covers it. Just because I made a post about it doesn't mean it's my one care in the world, and as I've stated before, even if Aion does go this route, being that we can change the graphics of our armor it is not a big deal, but I would rather it not go that route at all

1) how is the realistic thing involved here ? has mentionned in some post its a fantasy world in the first place. i give that its not a reason but even there if you want to be realistic then you dont see woman wearring heavy armour in the first place dont you think ? .

2. i dont see how it is sexist really. anything that makes a girl eatifull its considered as a flatery instead in my book. Some might dont like it, but its just show how the ones that make the game see a beatifull/sexy woman.. i personnaly prefer to see a sexy girl instead of a priest sister and i can assure you i m not sexist at all !

With guns, not melee. You don't need as much freedom of movement to fire a gun as to swing around giant axes. lol.. There's no combat like in Aion, in real life for you to compare armours to.. You can only compare clothes irl, to armours in game really... Otherwise it's like comparing apples to oranges.

Well technically its true that female should have the same armor as the guys. But its surprise myself to think that but seriously, I dont mind that much. Female character are cool and I found the armor cool too. You know, Im a real girl in real life lol But a female character can be very cute even cover hair to toes. My smn in ffxi wear a vermillion cloak that show only the face and i was cover all over with armor and damn I was cute lol

Even if heavy armor show a lot, we can still be sexy with normal armor, its just a new charlenge Tho I dont mind at all.

To be accurate it was the weight of the armor that effected you.

Plate armor construction developed into an artform and did very little to limit range of motion.

Seriously though the best looking armor on a female is a trail of it leading to a nice comfy spot.

Ever seen male orcs in Lineage 2 ? They wear almost nothing as well. In guild wars you had ranger armor covering everything and you had ranger- druid armor which looked like bunch of twigs ,lol


I don't mind at all how the armor looks .There's one thing I always notice in MMO's though : the male characters nearly always look like A. Schwarzenegger lookalikes ( in his terminator days ,that is ) .I'd much rather see them change that .

Also, Since I thought it but didn't actually write it down.. Ever think the females in game CHOOSE the "skimpy" armour? I mean it's not like they wear casual clothes or anything, so the only time they get to "look good" and fashionable is while they're in armour - thus the armours were purposely designed with an edge of style to them to accomodate for that?

In games that had the option for casual clothes I would change into them when in a town.

My dear diablo, I believe we've just stumbled onto an idea for the next cycle Casual clothes for town Would add a nice RP element, and add alot more diversity in towns (as you can still choose to wear armour if you wish)

I fail to see the problem either. Honestly it's a game, rules that apply in rl shouldn't have to apply in game as well. this has came up repeatedly as I pointed out repeatedly that one should really stop applying reality into aspects of the game.

I really don't care what the armor looks like as long as it looks good, so I won't have to delete my character cause it doesn't go well with a certain armor. Big deal if your character show some skin, doesn't mean you're the same and everything. And from the vendor armor I saw the rule doesn't really apply to it at all.

It's a fantasy game, Realism and Fantasy do not coexist.

Actually you'd be surprised how many people play a game called Shayia because of the "Breast physics and detail"

But that's also the minority of the larger group that would be attracted sadly.

These are a few of my points, you all are trying to mix realism and fantasy calling it sexist when in reality it's like saying Van Gogh's work isn't realistic enough... It's not meant to be, it's fantasy/imagination also Sex does sell. Why do I see these Axe Body wash commercials that basically tell me if I use this product I'll get laid by a hot girl. Why not put a dude that's ultra skinny or completely obese with glasses and acne in there with a woman of the same stature, simple... SEX SELLS
