That was a simple analogy, and if you read what wrote I said: "Anyway some guys prefer to play a female chr only because they aesthetically like it." However, if you have hidden desires good for you lol. Last edited by Azazel; 05-18-2008 at 05:53 PM. |

I'm a guy and I'll use Guild Wars to explain the sex that I choose to play. When making a PVE character I always made a male, because PVE is more like role-playing. However when I rolled a PVP only toon they were usually females because I wasn't acting out a storyline, just killing people, and wanted a change of appearance. As for Aion, since it is all-in-one PvPvE, I'll mostly likely be rolling male characters.

depends on what kind of character i make.
sometimes i will make males, and sometimes i will make females. For healer types i usually make females, and for more warrior types i make males. Although in wow i have a female dreanei warrior... which is kinda cool |

13 pages lates... wow. Well after seeing how the old thread derailed pretty hard and was locked... why would you want to broach the topic again? It's not like the community has different members all of a sudden. Anyhow... carry on. Hopefully it won't get as bad this time.

Male and mostly role male characters. Rolled a few female characters in CoX. It's funny to see it from the opposite perspective; some people still assume the player is the same sex as character and will hit on you..

I second this. Back in my pen and paper days I had a friend who would play female characters.....boy had issues....probably still does.

Sure. What I mean is that for a PvE toon they follow a storyline and you are acting out that character's life. But the PvP toons you make in GW come and go. I have 7 PvE toons so I'm constantly re-rolling my PvP toons. I don't really have time to "be" that character. That's all I meant and my reasoning behind my decisions.
