Depends if the armor looks good and what class it is. Animations are a factor, too.

Since I'll be playing with Irisviel...I'll definitely be female >.> I've always played female because well, no point in crossdressing here and from most MMORPGs I've played male arzes are not sexy to look at. I'd make a male toon if I were playing alone, just cause it's cool and I get less of the whole "you're a girl you probably can't play well or can play as hardcore as guys" bullcrap. And also cause it's gay to flirt with Irisviel as a guy =_= he'll probably pwn me in rl for it.

well i ,,hate" males playing females not that i care about that but personally i cant stand this idea would prefere everyone playing his/here real life gender also in game.

Another reason why i hate this is because there many men playing female charakters only because other stupid gamers help them because they think that they are really females ! (oh did i say because too often ?)

The only reason why i accept some of my friends playing females is because they dont wanna watch a male @$$ all the time

My very very first mmorpg char was a male... that the only time after that i rerolled a female and since that the "male" became the reroll i always make once i reach max lvl and contetn wasnt enough to feed me (usually when you play a lot since the release you always a step ahead from what dev's can deliver)

i got to say i enjoy playing females. not because of any sexism or any advantages.. i jsut find them cutiest to play besides its always fun to deal with PM's coming from imatures kids ( that should be doing something else obviously ^^)trying to E-cyber you eventhough you use TS and let everyone know you are a male and not homosexual !

I always play males, I like to be identified by my char. Unless males are really ugly, like L2 dwarfs X_x

well If you guys have better topics to start then feel free to do so. Topics will be reborn Again and again so long as people come to this site. Just wait till the game goes live. I forsee this site becoming a main GO TO for info and the such. There Threads dealing w/ the same topics will respwn like mad.

Besides we have to keep the Forums alive in some way shape or form in such a time of Boredom and depravity(lol).

i usually Play the characters w/ the best Animations. if the males are far too goony then i choose to play the females.

Also if they are equal. I usually play Females as Healing classes and Males as the Uber Pwn Explosive extravaganza classes.

In WoW my main was a female Hunter though. All the males in that game looked Goony.

There are folks who treat their character in first-person. (I am the character, He/She is me.)

..and others in the third-person. (He/She is my character, a seperate entity, I'm still me.)

I fall in the latter group, and I happen to like looking at female characters. I brag to my gf that mine looks prettier, and she gets annoyed. It's how I roll.

She is correct however in her statement that I usually don't know how to do makeup.. xD
