i dunno how well that would work out for non-korean speakers... I mean the game has a lot of quests and stuff, and it would be pretty hard to guess all that text

Hmm, I do know tha I will not be the one who's going to play the Korean OB version, but I do know that for sure i'm going to take a walk and gather some info about the world itself, the movement, the fighting, the specifications for graphics etc etc.

Ofc that would be if EU OB/CB version isn't out there

id try to find someone that can speak english, sometimes you can find people in all games that speak a different language that you need.

ofc you can, but would u really sit and start playing hard? i don't think so. i did that with Soul of the Ultimate Nation and it was worthless.

I've played RO2 beta long time ago, and there were a bunch of fansites with people translating quests, even some translation patch, its not that bad.

well id probly do it just to get a feel for the game and relieve some of the tension already waiting to play it

Im a pretty impatient person and i can't wait for this game to come out. But i think that if i did somehow get into the closed beta i would be too impatient to sift through translations just so i can see what i have to do for a quest. As well as reading translations just so i know what the menus are saying. I just think that if you are impatient enough to play a closed beta that is not in a language you can read, you will be too impatient with the translations to enjoy it and explore much of it.

Yes, there will be an English beta. We don't know when yet, but it's supposed to be this year sometime.

They need to choose new testers, upgrade all the servers, and possibly finish the Abyss for CB3.

I just don't want to have half of the forum whine about how they didn't get into the beta.

Agreed, by that time so much information would be out in the open, there'd be no reason for an NDA, and for translation issues there'd be no reason to restrict the number of players, considering more people would catch the errors faster. And they could do a stress test of the servers while they're at it.

Choosing testers isn't time consuming. That shouldn't take 2 months.
