Racial abilities?

I am new to this site but i have been following Aion for a while. Ive read all the forum topics on mmorpg.com and a good chunk of them here but i can't seem to find specific information about the racial abilities of Asmodae and the Elysea. I can't decide witch side i want to be on, and i think knowing a little more about them can help me decide. thank you in advance.

There are no racial abilities in AION that are known right now other than the way the EXP is divided for level progression.
Except DP skills, which are slightly different.

DP, or Divine Power. Similar to WoW's active racial abilities, these skills slightly tweak each race's playstyle. Even if the abilities seem unbalanced or ineffective, they play a big role in class/race balance.

Yeah you are right. They do slightly different things, and its debatable that one side is better than the other. I guess I was thinking more along the lines of WoW Racial Traits. I don't know if its enough to make me play one side or the other though. Considering the long cooldowns on them.

Ya im just finding it hard to decide what side i want to play on. so im just trying to find anything that will push me to like one more then the other. I take it there isn't very much information released on dp then?

There is info on it, but not too much. Basically what the skills do and how long it takes to accumulate DP is the only thing we know right now.

As you can see, in CBT 2, Gladiator and Templars had the same DPs. Who knows if the other classes will follow the same way. Personally, I hope not.

I like the little bit about racials so far, has a very FFXI feel to several of the abilities. I do wonder what they will end up with at launch tho.

Whether or not DP's are gonna be balanced is too be seen i guess. I like the idea that the two races are different, cuz if they were the same... well thats just boring. Since you can see that the two races are so aesthetically different, most likely they are gonna have differences in fighting styles, communication and other things. Also NCSoft said their thinking of the fundamentals of the world are different, which is why they are divided.
BTW, DPs and DPS(dps) look similar. we should try and correct that...

how about DivinePower/s=DVP and Damage per Second=DPS (the typical one)

ok so i am still having trouble deciding what side to play on. now i know about the history of the world and how both sides blame each other for the destruction of the tower of eternity, also that the Eylos seem to be the more aggresive race while the Asmodae seem to be more reserved. I have seen images and videos of both lands and i love the way both of them look. i also like the way both races look them selves. i started this thread because i figured knowing the racial abilities (aka DP) would separate them more for me so i could choose easier. now i guess i want to ask and see if anyone can give me more info about the differences between them if there is anything else.
