Going through my own system-specs, it seems I have to get 1GB more RAM and a new Videocard to probably be able to play at max-settings

With those SLI'd 7800GTs, you should be able to run at impressively high resolution with all settings maxxed. The FarCry engine is one of those games that responds almost linearly when moving from one video card to two in SLI (or Crossfire, for that matter).

FarCry's pretty good with SLi. Don't know how well it fares in Vista with SLi, though. Most of us aren't running Vista, though.

There you have it. My buddy plays FarCry all the time on a system like that on pretty high settings. If you've got something like that, you'll probably be fine, though I do recommend upgrading to some of the new stuff coming out nowadays sooner or later, preferably sooner.

Yeah, I'll just go out and spend the 1 grand (likely more) that I don't have on all of that.

All of that is rather cheap now. Extremely cheap, to be honest, if you can still find it in stock.

Cant wait to see how this game runs on my 8800. Hopefully it permits HDR and AA to be enabled at the same time. I'm still hoping NCSoft decides to optionally take advantage of some DX10 features, in another year or two everyone will be on Vista with DX10 cards.

I bet they could upgrade their engine to CryENGINE 2.0 pretty easily if they wanted to (perhaps I'm horribly wrong, but who knows?). As for HDR in FarCry, it's absolutely amazing! I remember installing FarCry on Chu's PC and applying all these cool mods and tweaks to get it to run with every setting jacked all the way up, and this was on a 8800GTS! Everything looked so crazy! My eyes! As for AA at the same time, I think it's possible with newer drivers or something.

Well with these kind of graphics you cant expect any lower minimum requirements. But from early experiences with korean games, the minimum requirements wont look good Altough i hope i'm mistaking for Aion.

Damn the requirements are very high! My PC is better then the requirements except for the ram, I got 1gig meaning I will most likely need to upgrade a little
