I say not a good idea. I'm pretty sure it is against some kind of user agreement, which can cause legal difficulties, banning from beta or the game entirely and could take away from the game expirience for others. (NCSoft gets upset at user agreement violations, becomes more strict, or puts new rules in place to prevent and that's not good for anyone) it could also mess with the beta process and make the game take longer to come out.

Though the idea of getting into CBT3 for 10-20 bucks is rather tempting

Also, this could be a scam. Seen plenty of them in many MMO's

I think it's a bad idea in general just because the people who buy the account will probably not help NCSoft in the beta test. Plus like Ithium said, it can also be a scam which is such a common occurrence in this day and age.

I don't see it as them being "Bored" of the game, as more of "its in beta, a **** load of people wanna play this game, lemme make some money at it!"

as for buying one, not for me, i want to enjoy Aion in english, reading the lore and enjoying the unfolding stories of the quests of Aion

That sounds a bit more appealing. Zyuu seems to feel as if he's missing out due to the language barrier, and he actually has a CBT3 account..

Well...the legality of it is an interesting topic that may or may not be as simple as you guys think it is.

Ethics is a much easier topic. It's not ethical to sell beta accounts, that's for sure.

tempting to be sure, but i would pass... both from (as mark pointed out) an ethical perspective, and being a "purist", i would want to experience it in its fully translated form...
