Dont know how people can consume energy drinks, i dont like them at all, and they feel hard on the stomach. I had maybe 4 of them in the past few years.

I much prefer Excedrin for staying up long, its for headaches, but has painkillers + caffeine, so it does the trick . Caffeine pills are great for those times you really wanna stay up, I was once on an exercise in the army for 5 days in the winter, 3-4 hours of sleep a night, having to wake up in the middle of it, and they kept me alert the whole time, however at the end of it i slept for like 18 hours



P.S. Flieva I dont know if I asked this before, but are any Ascension/inev ppls in Reign?

at 8:00 am il wake up brush my teeth get rdy.
at 9:00 am il leave for Mcdonald's arriving at 9:10am il order 2 bacon egg and cheese mcgridles eat and finsh at 9:30 am and leave at 9:35 am il get bak in my car and head to gamestop.
at 9:54 am il arrive il wait till 10:00am when it opens walk in at 10:01am touch the aion box for the first time at 10:02am pay and head bak into my car. then il open the box and look at all the amaziness at this time you dont want to know wat il be doing. il head back to mcdonalds arriving at 11:00am and il order 5 double cheeseburgers 5 mcchicken's and 5 Filet-O-Fish's theres my meals for the next 3 days. il head back home arriving at 11:05am oh ya iam be speeding. download game and login at 12:00 am and begin my aion experiance

oh well, normally if you ordered something on monday you had it on tuesday, but the last 3 years the post seems to have slowed down a bunch (restructuration and some new distribution center slows down the pace) so it will take 2-3 days to arrive (im used to delivery the day after i issued the order)

well the first days where i have to work will be like get home from work 8am, start pc get gaming.... game on... go to work at 22 pm be tired like hell in work nap in for a bit, 8am go back playing rinse and repeat till the first day i have off, ill slipe 24 hours and then play 48 hours straight

i fear as soon as this game comes out i will have a really bad lack of sleep oh well im used to 1-2 hours power naps

First off, Whenever we find out the release date I will inform my employees that I have to go to Dallas for that week to meet with some big wigs for our catering biz. (None of my employees know that im a total nerd, infact no one really does, except some old friends and my lovely lady, who is infact a ninja nerd as well! >< )
On release day I will likely wake up a few hours before the game goes live so that i may eat a balanced meal, get supplies, do the biz with my lady, and make sure our cats bowl is full (some times our kitties wrath is much worse than the womans). After I am set, ready to go, and have the women occupied, I will go to my cave (office) and there I will play a game of dota as it will be my last for awhile. Once the game goes live I will go in and make a character with the name i want right away. Then I will log out and spend alot of time with character customization. Once I know just how I want my toon to be ill make him and badabing badaboom Ill be in game and hopefully having a blast!

I plan on playing beta to learn the intricacies of the game. Nah, not really. Just to play it and see how it works so whenever I get it at release I'll know what to do and be ahead of the curve.

On the release, there WILL be lots of lag and possible servers being offline.

At home I'll put the bottles in my fridge, take the can and my Aion box upstairs, power up the PC and sit down at my desk, clean last nights cookie crumbles of, empty the ash tray and log into my Windows account. First thing then is I'll open up MSN and send a text to my brother saying only "AIONAIONAION!!!!!", then go DND.

Now here comes the moment I've been waiting for over the last two years. Carfeully I make a small incision to gently peel of the plastic wrapper and put it aside. I lie down the box, feeling the smooth high-quality gloss print, mentally preparing myself for what's next. With gentle fingers I run around the corner of the box, slowly lifting it upwards. The forming vaccuum slowly sucks air into the box until the top finally slides of with a satisfying "whup" sound.

Quickly I bow down, deeply inhaling the "new game box" smell that were trapped in there for far too long. The fumes make me even more light-headed than I already am. Nervously I wipe my sweaty hands on my trousers, carefully picking each item from the box. A map, a poster, a manual, a game activation card, a trial code leaflet, and finally: The Aion Game DVD case. Swift fingers pop it open, lift the DVD off the tray and in one fluid motion open the DVD-Drive, po the disc in and close it again.

While the autorun loads the installer, I rip open my box of Pall Mall's and light a cigarette. The installer starts copying files to my D-Drive, while Firefox brings up the (completely overwhelmed) PlayNC website where I log into my PlayNC account, punch in the Aion Activation code, digit by digit, confiming it with "Ok". It's done. My Aion account has been created.

I sit back, relax and wait for the patcher to finish downloading the latest update. I open my can of Fanta Icy Lemon, taking a careful sip, enjoying the cool and refreshing running down my throat, when the patcher finishes, starts the game and brings up the login screen. The title melody is flowing out of my speakers, filling the room with a neverending tune of freedom and peace, gently bouncing off the soft evening light that's creeping in through my window.

It's all just one click away. Filled to the brim with hope and expectations that have built up over the last two years I type in my account name and my password. I click "Login", and I'm there. I'm finally, finally there.

I'm home. After waiting through endless hours of downtime because the servers arent up or going through endless patches because the game isnt running properly. I will sift through hundreds of angry posts about a horrible release and whatch untold amounts of people claiming to burn their copy of the game and vouch to never play again. Horray MMO Release Day.

Well i can assure you all that this is exactly what will happen the day Aion releases. Thursday night after work, knowing that Aion will be released tomorrow morning, i will come home, take a shower, and go str8 to bed. Although i am quite sure that since i normally dont go to bed until 2am ill just lie there tossing and turning for 4 hours. Eventually however i will drift into a sleep clouded by replays of you-tube videos and random article excerpts about Aion.

When i awake in a cold sweat at 6am in the morning i will jump out of bed in the fastest manner possible, more than likely disturbing my girlfriend and almost giving her a heart attack. I will have my pants, flip-flops, and shirt on before she can ask that all too hindering question - "Honey, what the hell are you doing jumping out of bed and getting dressed at six in the morning?!"

As I fly through the house in a blur of sweatpants and pale white skin ill grab a Mt. Dew out of the fridge and hop out of the front door. At which time i will probably stumble or fall down the front steps due to my morning grogginess and lack of normal functions. After i brush the dirt off of my knees i'll hobble over to the car and hop in.

Turning the car on ill hear some extremely loud electric guitar blaring out of the speakers because i forgot to turn my stereo down the night before. After being scared to death. i'll reach for the volume control and turn it down and back out of my driveway.

I will then make my short 5 minute commute to Dunkin' Doughnuts, which is right across the street from GameStop and eat doughnuts, smoke a few cigs, and sip coffee until i see that first light come on. Then i will get up and dash out the door, dodge and on-comming car and hop in my front seat.

Then ill pull out of the parking lot and wait at the four way for 5 minutes because people in South Carolina cant drive and they stop right in front of you. Once the traffic is cleared i will proceed to let my car inhabit a parking spot in from of GameStop.

Then i will sit there for about 5 minutes calming down and cleaning the fog off of my glasses. Then ill slip my flip flops back on my feat and slowly get out of my car. Then i will calmly walk across the parking lot and open the door, walk in, and be welcomed by that little noise - "BEEP DING"

Then i'll look at the scruffy teenage cashier standing behind the counter and give him that upward nod that you give to people you don't know and want to seem cool. Then ill walk up to the counter and tell him" Hey man, I'm here to pick up my preorder of Aion." At which point he'll go into some rambling about all the good stuff hes heard about the game and how bad he wants to play it. In the middle of his novel of needs and wants i will lift my white plastic bag off of the counter and tell him "Later."

I will calmly walk across the store and open the door. Once im outside of the door i will dash to my car and speed home. I will walk in the front door and be greeted with a bundle of questions of where i went, why i wnet there, and why i left my cell phone at home. I will simply answer the questions by sitting down in front of my computer, logging out of mandriva, and holding up my shiny plastic wrapped trophy of awesomeness.

THen i will unwrap it take a look at the cover art and pop the box open. I will then open the dvd box and drop the disc into my dvd drive and launch the installer. While the game is installing ill take a look at the contents of my collectors edition box, and find a spot on my shelf/wall/desk/or where-ever the items belong to put my new stuffz.

After the installer is done and i have to wait for the patcher ill just go smoke a few and have another Mt Dew to kick off the next 48-72 hours of gaming that lie ahead.

Although im pretty sure no one read this post all the way through (If you did im surprised), that is exactly what will happen.

I really doubt Aions servers will be unstable at game launch, especially with their experience in other MMO's, including L2 which has one of the highest populations per server I've ever seen from a game, not to mention they are so worried about bad beta's/starts they want everything to be perfect. The only problems may be with the SQL/Login server getting overwhelmed, they would be wise to put a limit/restriction on it that put people in queue to join up for the first week or so, so there isnt a massive influx of people.

I dont smoke, but I'll probably buy a few
