Err Tyrael, the wings can't be mounts you only have them for a minute (?), wings are for fighting strategy and not for getting around. In that case teleportation and flying mounts should take some work to acquire. Land mounts and ships are cool, again to own a mount it should take some work.
Imparcian has good ideas ^_^

Yeah with a time limit on flight, I think mounts and other modes of transportation are appropriate.

I do hate teleporting though. Not only does it make the world small. It makes most of it a wasteland. Its a shame for such beautiful scenery to go ignored.

That being said, there needs to be a zippy alternative to walking. I think it would be cool if they implemented the flight path thing they were gonna do initially. Have NPCs in town that help boost your flying ability. And you can go from town to town on flight paths like griffins (although I would like them to meander a lot less than griffins).

air ships or flying mounts seem appropriate too. Just anything to make it so you actually have to move through the world. And not just pop up anywhere on a whim (which can get very annoying for PvP).

I am up for both tele and mounts, main reason is like i forget who mentioned your wings don't last forever you have a set engery which takes time to regain... so if you fly throw the middle of somewere and run out of engey its gonna suck running that were mounts come in..

The tele port will be god so you don't have to fly /run/mount to a village 20 mins away.. as much as i would like flying it would suck if you had to do it all the time... I believe if they do implement teleporting they need to includ like alot of freedom.. look at it this way imagin while pvping you can tele someone into the sky and then full to the ground... and of course there gonna loose hp when they hit but if there quick enough they can summon there wings so they don't die... now some may think this is gay or ake mages more powerfull but there have been some hints that some attack increase in power when you fly like knght imagin a knight flying back down super fast and then smacking someone with there weapon... I don't care who you are thats gonna hurt... Of couse there is gonna have to be some limits place on this skill like it can only be cassed ever 2 to 3 mins or soemthing like that.
