A Social Networking question

Just a quick poll for you this week, we'd like to know something about the other places you hang out on the web when you're not here.

Which of the following Social Networking sites are you registered on? Feel free to give us a bit more detail in the comments below about what you like or dislike about the sites you use.

I'm registered on Facebook, but I don't use it.

All those sites are ridiculously idiotic. I see absolutely no purpose of making any profiles. yet I know some people who really have one on almost every page you can imagine, as they always tell me to "look at their profile # 293826498126943". It's all the same with a different layout. If someone wants a profile; sure, just stick to one, more than that and it just gets stupid.

I really don't like such sites so I didn't sign up on any of them.

Sorry no interest to tell the whole world what color i like and what music i listen to and what times i take a **** :P

I do visit quite a few forums of which most I can't really mention here otherwise when on my PC I'm either playing a game or watching a movie/series.

But could you please elaborate why you made this poll just out of curiosity.

Seconded. Which is why I use Facebook, the cleanest of all of them. If NCsoft planned on making a page for Aion, I suggest Facebook. It's clean, friendly, and devoid of whining ten-year-olds who think that neon green on black is a good color combonation for thier entire layout.

I actually made an AionSource.com group on Facebook, if anyone is interested in joining it.

My friends tricked me into a Myspace a few years back. I even do stuff on it every few months. I really don't get any joy out of it, but once upon a time, it was something to do while bored. It's too much to bother to IM or call my friends, let alone using a laggy, poorly made website to try talking to them.

Oh lord, MySpace is horribly coded. Still in ColdFusion, I believe, while Facebook runs on tasty PHP. Just like someplace else I know...

I signed up to Myspace a while back now just for the music section. Then it all became lame. I tried to fit in but now refuse to take pictures of myself. I still check it from time to time as alot of my friends use it and they leave me messages such as 'Pick me up tomorrow for Uni' or something like that. Useful i suppose when i don't use phones.

if its on the internet, it wont be free of whiny high-school kids or emo-nonsense that has been the bane of the internet since livejournal, for much longer. i have a myspace, but i have to say i really hate the idea of these sort of online free blogs and trendy online diaries.

most people don't realize once something is on the internet, it no longer belongs to them and is public record to anyone who cares to read whatever it is thats been posted. and people just love to post dirt and mindless drivel.
