I'm going the Halberd rout this time. I usually go for Great Swords whenever I can, but TBH, I'm getting sick of using them. Not only that, but the attack animations with polearms just looks so elegant and devastating that I can't pass it up.

On a side note, seeing how my last long term MMO was Lineage 2, and my main class was in fact a Gladiator, I would think it sort of cliche to go the way of dual swords, lol.

I still think dual wielding is maing for assassins, but maybe gladiators will be able to dual weild too? at least through stigma system methinks

well taerr i dont understand why dual wielding is should be meant only for assasind ? think of that if one sharp long sword does a lot of damage why not using a second to double that ? and one more i can imagine an assasin being in stealth while wielding to longswords,dont mean that wielding two daggers is bad or whatever but in the case of longswords well wont they make some any noise because they touched something ? dont get upset with me, i just hate assasin's who wield longswords

guess i will be going for the strongest weapon i find, regardless of what it is^^ but i seriously hope they will add some axes or giant-axe things in the future, would just rock to swing a man-huge axe around

i would say that the gladiator is going to be the cheapest class concerning buying the weapons since we can wield almost everything what do you say ?

because dualwield is being mentioned in this thread i want to ask if someone knows how the dualwield system will work (if such a system exists ) will it be like Lineage2 where you have to buy two swords and than make them to one weapon (means that you can't separate the two swords again) or like any other mmo where you can equip your charakter with different types of swords/axes and unequip them as often as you want ?

About 3 weeks ago i saw a video about a Gladiator wich appears in a momoent dual. So, i think its possible to be dual.

But...think about a very very big asmodian with a very very big too 2H sword. Dude, it would be really great

great guess i get my gladi. nothing beats a dual wield of two nice simple looking sowrds. (ow how do i love a dual wield *** blades (the lvl 52 ones forget the spelling))
